Can i create a workflow that sends a message to all open conversations in a specific inbox letting customers know our support agents will be going offline soon based on our office hours? For example, 20 minutes before our default office hours, can a message be triggered and sent to all open conversations in ABC inbox? 

My React native app integrates with Intercom and implements the push notification function, but when the iOS application runs in the foreground, it cannot receive push notifications. Is it because it cannot be implemented or am I missing something？Android is all normal, and iOS is also normal in non foreground mode。Could you please help me solve it as soon as possible。

I have 16,000 conversations which originated from emails being forwarded to Intercom. I’m looking for an easy way of closing all these messages. I’ve tried creating a workflow to close messages, but this seems to only apply to new messages coming in, and is not retrospective.Due to the large number of messages, it’s not practical to hover and highlight or click them one by one.

We need to know if its possible with eg a switch to decide not to send the reply with whole conversation by email in some occations?Eg if the answer I am going to provide is including sensitive data / GDPR stuff I want to “check a box” for the reply only to be visible when logged in and reading in the messenger and not to included in the email notification. As in “read the answer here when logged in”. Hi there,   I am using react-native intercom library and after release of io.intercom.android:intercom-sdk-base:15.1.6, getting below errorManifest merger failed with multiple errors 

We use Segment integration with Intercom. And update Contact with Segment message, usual message contains traits like these:…."traits": {        "email": "some user email", // corresponds to email in Intercom Contact        "firstName": "a",        "internationalPhone": "+10000000",        "lastName": "h",        "leadStatus": "SPAMMER",        "name": "aaaaa",        "organizationId": "some ID",        "phone": "phone number",        "userId": "01010101",   // corresponds to user ID in Intercom Contact         "userRole": "Owner",        "userStatus": "Banned"    }….Intercom returns http 200 when we send message from Segment, but changes of Contact wasn’t appeared in Intercom UI. It work well on TEST workspace but doesn’t work on PROD. We have the same fields mapping for TEST and PROD environments.

Hello. I would like your assistance on one point regarding HubSpot's data attributes. We currently conduct the NPS survey through HubSpot, after receiving the survey we apply a follow-up flow where we actively contact detractors and neutrals. However, currently, this entire process is manual, we export the research, and then we start a conversation with the customer through the chat in the tool (Intercom). I saw that Wootric already has some data attributes that make it possible to automate the entire process that we now carry out manually. Are we able to get these same attributes with data from the Hub? Example: Last hubspot nps score, last hubspot nps comment...?Thanks!

I’m creating a Custom Action using Stripe’s APIs. The messenger application loads and sometimes it doesn't. After loading, if I try send a message it fails and loads back the intercom home screen and is unable to open the past chats.  Saw that the POST conversation API is getting a 404 error. Please do help as this is happening in my production shopify store.

Is there any way to prevent the bot from interfering in a conversation that is already being answered by a teammate?

Hi there!I subscribed on content_stat.post event, but the webhook triggers only when user open the intercom webpage.We are using embbed webComponent in our application and would like to notify user about it before he opened the web page (because he must do it manually), we want to open it programmatically - when new post are created - open this page immediately, but we discovered that webhook triggers only after opening webpage by user. How can i detect that new post are created for user, before he opened page? Ideally via webhook, or at least API?Thanks!

we have created an app, with a webhook directing to our platform, it was working fine, but suddenly somewhere today, the event "conversation.user.created" and "conversation.user.replied" are not sent.

When using Intercom, I have often seen the icons of my teammates who are viewing the live chat conversation with a customer. However, this has since disappeared and I am not sure why. 

I’m building a custom action that will send a POST request to Shortcut to create a Story.  I’ve tested in Postman and it works fine, but when I use the exact same request body in Intercom, I’m getting a message back that I’m missing a parameter (the missing parameter happens to be the only required parameter).  I can recreate this error in Postman by commenting out (or removing) the parameter in question.  Otherwise, it always succeeds in Postman.How does Intercom present the body in these requests?  Does it do it exactly as-is, or does Intercom apply some formatting?  Since it works fine in Postman, I’m kinda thinking that Intercom is changing something.To be more specific, when creating a Story via Shortcut’s API, the only required parameter is “name”.  If my request body in Intercom is this:{"name": "Just a test card from Intercom"}I get this message:400 Bad Request{"message":"The request included invalid or missing parameters.","errors":{"name":"missing-required-key"}} Works fine i

With surveys is there any way to get them to work well on mobile devices when they are large format?Here attached from Intercom is what the survey is suggested to look like on mobile view, which I presume is if you’ve done the work with SDK’s to make the survey push on an app.It looks pretty tidy!Mobile view from Intercom survey previewBelow is an actual image of the same survey in real life on a standard Android phone. It doesn’t look as good, and on even smaller mobile devices some of the survey can’t even be read without scrolling _horizontally_ :| I am guessing it’s because it’s a mobile device accessing a web app and not an actual mobile app. Is this a correct assumption?Secondly, is there any way to get the formatting to scale better on mobile. Something to match what’s shown in Intercom’s preview would be great. Any other suggestions I’d welcome too!  

Hello! Looking for a bit of advice. Our team has a lower inbox volume (around 40 a day) and the inbox is usually 60% email and 40% chat. At the moment, any messages that come in we close after our response and only snooze conversations that need a follow up at a later time. This has helped us keep a clean inbox that is easy to see what conversations need to be attended to. However, this causes some problems when we want to track CSAT and time to close, so we are looking to change how we are working in Intercom. I know there are automations you can set up that will automatically respond to chats if they customer has not followed ups but I am more concerned that we will have tons of emails re-opening that will create more work for us manually to follow up with customers since emails are our main channel for conversations. As well, if I do set an auto-reply when a conversation re-opens - what is there are conversations that shouldn’t get that auto-reply. Do you tag them a specific way? Cu

Occasionally when editing existing content we will merge two articles, deleting the first old article and merging its content with the second article (thus the first URL becomes invalid/is deleted). The problem is, we sometimes link to the articles from other sources, and customers following the old URL find a dead page. Is there any way to create a redirect so we can consciously tell Intercom to send customers to the new URL?

Hi,I just wanted to know how other users get written feedback for their articles.In the past we did have the option enabled where clicking 😞 started a chat. However we had to disable this because it acted as a backdoor for some to come straight through to support, skipping custom bots, and allowing users to start a chat that we wouldn’t want to be able to start a chat.It was also an issue because our articles are not maintained by the same people who answer our chat queries. Ideally it would be great if users clicking a reaction on the article were then provided a comment box. Whatever they submit would then appear as a section in the editor view, and you could then scroll through all written feedback, and also see who had left it (like you can when you view who reacted to an article).   However this is just what I’d like to happen.
