Hello guys,I read a little bit trough the community and the weird thing is how many cases their are about outbounding messages in whatsapp. And i think i speak for a lot of people here and thats just a shame for such a good developed platform not be able to send a whatsapp message to the customer. And even if i wanted to start a conversation from the dashboard i could not even send a message like: Hey “Customer name”, Because variables are not supported……. And don’t let me start about that whatsapp is a PAID add-On. And then i tought maybe it’s just the UI that does not support it. And i looked at the developpers page to send a message trough API.  And it’s not available even their, how much work would it be just to add a option to send it trough whatsapp programatically WITH variables.You already have the API?You could already send a outbound Whatsapp message trough the dashboard? And now i am just stuck, because i cannot connect two partners to my whatsapp account. Hello there! Has anyone here any suggestions for an app to integrate on top of Intercom to give our customers possibility to have anice list overview of their chat/conversation/ticket history, and where they can search in theit conversation history, etc.?

Hello, It seems we cannot reliably use Intercom on iOS due to an API error. We are trying to identify a customer with a uuid, email, and identity hash (derived from the uuid). Our integration was working until we upgraded to the 14 SDK. Now everytime we call either loginUser or updateUser we receive a “400 user already exists” error message. This happens for some users and not others, but is resulting in production customers not being identified.

We’re looking forward to implementing WhatsApp for Intercom, considering the documentation on integrating the WhatsApp App with Intercom we have some concerns, we hope people who have already done this integration may be able to answer.We’re currently using the WhatsApp API for custom marketing messaging and authentication, it simple, it only redirect the user to our App, however we would like a way to see if the user reply, and if so, for our customer service team to continue the conversation, note that there’s no third party manager of the account, we call the API ourselves, the WABA is hosted on Meta directly, we hope that can be achieved through this integration, so in concrete these are our concerns:If we integrate WhatsApp, we’ll lose access to manually call the WhatsApp API for authentication OTP and marketing messages? Can the API still create new conversations with new users? Can the integration at Intercom see those message, so the Customer Support team see the entire convers

I have already started a conversation through app but the solution offered is not a solution at all.Since we started using Intercom, we run all our support operations both for customers and potential users via Intercom conversations.Now many of our users are complaining that they cannot reach us out via support button and when we connect to their device and check the Intercom CDNs are banned by their modem. The affected user count increases day by day and our support team spends extra effort and time just to try to make it whitelisted, so instead of focusing the real problem Intercom now causes a time loss to fix the support button. I’m trying to create a Zapier integration that syncs Intercom conversations to ClickUp tasks. We have the Intercom ClickUp integration set up such that we can link conversations to tasks just fine. The problem is that the Intercom API does not expose the ClickUp task ID or any other identifiers that could allow Zapier to see that Interom → ClickUp link.Is there a workaround for this, and if not, is it possible for the API to be extended to provide access to the third-party integration’s conversation attributes?

Hi Intercom team,I’m working on a web app that’s embedded in a partner’s mobile app via WebView. Both our web app and the partner’s mobile app use Intercom, but each with a separate workspace.Are there any known issues or best practices when two Intercom instances (in different workspaces) are running in this setup? Specifically: Could this cause conflicts with sessions or the Messenger widget? Does Intercom handle isolation properly in WebViews? Is there anything we should do to avoid interference between the two instances?

Where do I talk to support about adding MCP server options to my data connections

I`m using the FIN Messenger in a test website. The frontend always call to call to  Intercom('shutdown') and Intercom('boot’) on page load. Before that, we get the JWT form our backend an send that to the messenger throught the API. If yes, does it mean the access token is long-lived (officially valid up to 60 days)? After expiry, is the only way to obtain a new token by making the user go through the OAuth authorization flow again? We are developing an AI agent platform, my question is: is it possible to integrate intercom MCP to my platform, or does the current intercom MCP only support to use in the desktop client like Cursor, VSCode etc? I asked because I tried using the registration endpoint from https://mcp.intercom.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and was unable to register my domain, but can register successfully with localhost domain, localhost domain mainly uses in the desktop client like Cursor, VSCode. Thank you. 

I wanted to check if it's possible to integrate Intercom into two different apps using the same workspace, while having separate FAQs for each. Is that supported, or would we need to create a separate workspace for each app?

Hi there!  We are considering to operate our company’s customer service from Intercom in the future. Our current technology for customer service contain tickets which we use to report the time spent on tickets also. Sometimes we want to create a ticket manually just to report how much time some task have taken. To be more specific there are these kinds of tickets where we don't send any messages. We create a ticket manually, add some recipient but without any public message any message won't be sent. Time tracking app saves the data how much time a person has spent with this task.  Is this possible with Intercom? We know that there's many apps and integrations for tracking the time but does these work for our purpose? Can we create a new conversation where any messages won't be sent? Or do you have any other tips how Intercom could work for our purpose?

Is there an easy automated way to export Intercom reports and dashboard data to Notion? I would like to maintain company-wide ‘Scoreboards’ in Notion and Intercom is obviously a key part of that for CS.

I downloaded your mobile app (iOS) and attempted to login using Google. It said my business email is not associated with any Intercom user, which is weird, because on my Mac I can login to Intercom with my Google account, no problem. So I read your help article and then follow your instructions to create a new password, but I am still unable to login to your iOS mobile app. I have no problems logging in to Intercom on my computer, so why doesn’t your mobile app recognize my credentials? It is utterly useless!

Hi everyone,There haven’t been any recent changes made to our account, but we suddenly stopped receiving messages from Facebook and Instagram starting around July 1st. We tried disconnecting and reconnecting the channels, but encountered a strange bug, on one browser it shows as connected, while on another it doesn’t.Could anyone help us troubleshoot this issue so we can start receiving messages from those platforms again?Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi!It seems that there is an unwanted scroll behaviour when opening and closing intercom on Safari when there are messages in the message board.It is easily replicable on your codepen’s test app: codepen.io/intercom/pen/QGqWxwOpen the link on Safari, scroll to the middle of the screen, open intercom, write a couple of messages, close the intercom and open it again, it auto scrolls up.I’m a developer and I have this bug reported by our customers.
