I've set oath URLs for authentication, but when I try to connect to Intercom from our site, Intercom doesn't redirect to the URL, in the developer hub it says "Pending Configuration", what do we need to do for this configuration to be approved, thanks

We are using app.heartbeat.chat to host our Community, but can't figure out how to integrate Intercom into it. Intercom works on the main website (startupstrategycentral.com), but once you click the link to sign in and it takes you to the community portal, Intercom goes away. Help?

Hi!  We send newsletters to our customers from outside Intercom. For example, we'd like to target outbound messages to the people who have clicked some link on the newsletter and landed to the webpages. Is this kind of targeting possible as those newsletter aren't send from Intercom? Can referral url be used for this? Is there any limitations?

We are currently using this app to sync user data and conversations to our CRM, Pipedrive:https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/2535853-pipedrive-app/p> It seems like any inbound/incoming messages into Intercom from a user are synced to their profile in Pipedrive, but any outbound messages/emails we send them from Intercom are not logged/synced to that user's profile in Pipedrive. Is that correct or have I misconfigured something?

Hello all, I set a custom bot that uses custom attributes to collect lead data. However, it appears to me my custom attributes don't work properly. Does anybody know how to send Intercom lead to Copper via Zapier?

Is there an app/integration to ask users for app store reviews directly on Intercom. I know there are plenty to ask for reviews through the chat, but those are not connected in any way to the app store. Thanks!

Ive configured the intercom frontend to configure a company id. Separately, Ive configured a backend app integration to update some custom fields on the company. I have found that almost half of comanies do not appear in the companies list in the UI. However when I look for a user and then navigate to the company page from the user, I can see that the company exists. Could I be doing something wrong? We are using intercom EU.

Anyone know if it's possible to use a relative URL in a custom app? For example, rather than using https://forum.intercom.com/s/bookmarksI would just use /bookmarks When I try, I get an error message. Looking at the documentation, I'm not seeing an option to use relative URLs or even just add an HTML block to a custom app.

As far as I understand I can only initialize the app if a teammate manually triggers it in messages for example. What I would like to achieve is an app initializing as a response to a closed conversation. In my imagination that would be possible if I could send a request to an API that initializes the app for the closed conversation after I receive a notification to a webhook connected to the app. Thus there is no chance of a teammate forgetting to initialize it, or deliberately not doing so for any reason. Is that possible, or perhaps I need to look for some other option to achieve this? We activated the Slack integration and for some users that is working fine but others have to authenticate for some reason and then they get a message that they do not have the permission to change the app installation.

Zendesk + Intercom. Is there any good way to use Outbound message from Intercom with Zendesk chat on our website? We are looking into moving our support to Zendesk but keep Intercom for marketing purposes. What I would like to know is if its possible to have Zendesk chat on the website, but use the post and chat bubbles on our website? Basically both services.  

Hi, I have been trying to create our own intercom that interfaces to our own internal api to provide user details and properties. But how do I get the information around the context/lead in the initialize request. I have been trying to follow the tutorial and understand how I display components in the Canvas Kit, but how can I understand the context/lead of the user that is access when this app is shown in the conversation window?

I want to send a slack notification to myself anytime a new user is identified on the site....basically, so it opens a conversation that I can proactively outreach to new customers.  How would I do this? I had been told that the setTimeOut is how to do it, but not seeing any documentation on it. Hi, on my website, I'm looking to have an intercom bot pop when he recognizes a hubspot lead on my website, and address him with variables from Hubspot. Basic example: John has submitted a HS form on my website on Monday, filling first name and company name fields. On Tuesday, he's back on my website, I want the Intercom bot to pop and tell him: Hey {firstname}, how can we help {companyname} today? Any way I can do this?Thanks! PS1: I know Intercom has a Hubspot app on their store, with an option that says allow Intercom to access Hubspot cookie, but not sure it helps.

Canvas Kit can only be utilized within intercom interface in multiple places. I am trying to create a web app which mirrors Intercom UI. Has Intercom released their UI components as a library which can be utilized in create a new (react-based) web app?

Webhook dont send data? Only empty request? Get and Post parameters are empty... How we can get data about notification?

Hello People, I am trying to use an app with a webhook to do the 2-way communication between user and intercom agent.The agent messages are showing up in the body field of the event coming to the webhook(PFI for ref) in the HTML format, I need a way on how to parse this body and fetch the message in it to show the same to the user. Thanks in advance.

We are currently facing a huge perf issue with angular and this node, mat-menu or modal are very slow to open due to a huge amount of style recalculation, especially on Safari. As soon as I delete this node everything is back to normal. So I delete it on app boot, it's a little bit hacky for the moment, but we have no choice due to client complaints. Is there a risk to delete it, things still look working well without it. Here the example for a modal.With:​Without:Best regards.

I'm getting the response: {"support_url":null,"error_code":"third_party_request_error","message":"Something went wrong with the third party server during the request"}when trying to initialize the app, I don't know what kind of error is involved, no other code error or description is given to know if is a permission issue from my server, when I access the URL set in canvas it returns the following object{"canvas":{"content":{"components":[{"type":"button","label":"Click Me, This is AppCore!!!!","style":"primary","id":"url_button","action":{"type":"submit"}}]}}}any help will be appreciated, thanks!

If we unpublish an app from the App Store, can a user still uninstall it? My understanding is that to remove an app, they need to open their inbox, navigate to the App Store, find the app and remove it. However, if we unpublish the app, can they still do this? The use case for us is we are swapping an old app for a new one, and they have the same name, so we can't have two published at the same time.

I would like to send an automatic message when a user pings us in Support. I do not want to use the Bot. Is there any other app that I can install and set an automatic message to those who try to chat with our support team?  Please let me know.

Is there a way to get more error details for canvas? Trying to test out canvas and I get an error "Something went wrong while trying to set up that card, please try again" All i did was configrue the url, which returns the json from https://developers.intercom.com/canvas-kit-reference/reference/canvas and I'm stuck on the first step.....  I used chrome console and I see that the error_code is third_party_malformed_response_error Here is the URL I'm using for the initialize step - https://spacedrift.azurewebsites.net/api/intercom/initialize
