Can we upload a list of users' email addresses to intercom for bulk emailing? Should the users previously have existed in intercom or can they be any person who is currently, or has previously used our product? What are the best practices for executing this type of bulk communication? What are the exact steps we need to follow to achieve this?

HiI am working for an application. When customers sign up, if they don’t fill the box “First Name”, they have the information “PRENOM” registered as their first name.We want to send personnalized emails with their first name. There is the option “fallback” to send a emoji if their first name is empty but this emoji is not sent if they have the information “PRENOM” as their first name. Does anyone have a suggestion?Maryse

Using the existing Intercom integration with Jira, I find it to be lacking in functionality.For example, a support agent reports on an issue and the agent raises a customer ticket or a tracker ticket. This action triggers an automation process that creates a bug in Jira.The important link between any support platform and Jira, is the AffectsVersion and fixVersion.I need the support agent to report in Intercom on the Affected Version, which should map to the Affects Version field in Jira.In return, once the development team assigns a fix version to the bug, I require the fixVersion field in Jira to map to a Fix Version field in the Customer or Tracker ticket.Such field doesn’t exist, so I have to create it… but I see no way to map the fixVersion Jira field to any field in Intercom tickets.Appreciate any insights on this matter - or how any of you communicate the Affects Version and Fix Version between your development work to support tickets? 

Is there a way for Lead data to be captured using an API? I’m a little lost and wanted to see if that is even possible.

Hi thereWe have set up two profiles for the FIN AI Agent.One profile is a support bot that we’d like to show within our app and platform. The 2nd profile is a lead qualification bot that we’d like to show on our website. Currently the 1st profile support bot shows on the website as well.We’re tried various filters on “Show Fin to” and we can’t seem to get it working. Any ideas on which filters we should be using?My best, Amy

HiI’m using the web Intercom object to interact with the messenger.  I have set up an automation workflow with a few buttons for the user to choose from.  This works great when a user is “coming in cold”, but I also have parts of my web app where I know which button they will choose and so would like to skip this initial showing of the buttons and just open the messenger with the relevant workflow automatically triggered.i.e. In a similar way that you can automatically trigger a survey with Intercom('startSurvey', 123);Is this possible with workflows? Many thanks

May I ask if it’s possible to move a CSAT from one colleague to another due to a mistake of closing without last response from the original conversation owner?

We’re implementing tickets, and we’re pushing them to the relevant slack channels based on our products & teams involved.There’s an action in Automation to easily post to Slack, and it works like a charm but… there’s no link within Intercom to find that conversation. So if my support team wants to see if they got an answer they need to manually find the conversation or manually copy paste the Slack link.Intercom’s API don’t let us update a field in the ticket...Custom actions don’t let us map anything to the ticket…I honestly don’t understand why we don’t have a proper API support so people can connect their environment and update tickets based on activities happening in 3rd party software.

We use Chameleon.io for our in-app onboarding, tours etc. So i want to have the intercom messenger being called from a Chameleon launcher, as a custom launcher, but when you go to our website, I just want the launcher to be displayed as default. How is that possible? Hi,I am rather new to this and would love to understand if I can create user journeys (emails) on Intercom? To explain this better: I want to create journeys for different segments of users basis the actions they take after signing up to our website. For example, a welcome email as soon as they join followed by a mail on day 3 if they are actively using a specific feature. 

 Hello,we did’t start with Intercom yet. Currently our agents insert some note after having a call with our customers, like a short summary.So they write some sentences in a memo field and this will be saved in our Software. If we start in intercom we need to transfer this "history" of notes. Maybe someone can help us with the following questions:1.) How do we go about transferring these notes into Intercom? 2.) Where can we display such information in Intercom so that our agents can reproduce notes of the past? Here is a screen of notes in our current software: We would like to transfer such information in a section of this right section. Intercom's Visitor model captures info about anonymous website browsers like pages viewed and their UTM source info. This is super valuable and if they send a message through Intercom the visitor is converted into a Lead so you can see all of that valuable info.  What I can't figure out is how to convert a Visitor into a Lead using a form submission. Intercom does not offer any form tools so the form necessarily must sit elsewhere. I am happy to use most form builders (Typeform, Google, etc). As it happens I'm currently using Unstack's built in form tool. All of these form tools allow you to create a new Lead in Intercom using Zapier but this is not connected to the Visitor so it provides none of the valuable intelligence about the person's journey before they completed the form.  Are there any ways, ideally using no code tools like Zapier, to convert a visitor into a lead when they complete a website form?  When I was exploring GoSquared they offered a method to do

Hi, I want to know how to write bold text as an user that messaging with the company?Tried to do markup syntax but nothing works, the only thing that seems to be working is <br> tag which breaks a line, is it possible at all to write bold text as an user?

Has anyone else encountered that when writing a Series and you click “save”, Intercom pops up with a red banner with an error message (and any attempts to save after that will result in your series being deleted, despite appearing as “successful”)?  Wondering how I can avoid this problem in the future, or if anyone has found a workaround! 

Anyone found a way of auto notifying a “user” in the system via a note in a conversation for customers they may care about.  We have the odd use-case where specific types of conversations or companies/users are of interest to users, but I have not been able to add users to automation workflow.EG. Keywords are of interest to a particular user and we let them know automatically via tags?Use Case below, I tested using Owner Name from Salesforce (via native and ETL source) and @mentions do not work.
