Once I create my product tour, I cannot makes content/word edits, because there is no save button! It might be because I have it pointing at an element to click, so once I select that step, it pushes to the next page, not allowing me to “save” my edits on that step. Can I suggest a “save and continue” button to capture that pages changes?

Hi there,I am building a Product Tour that walks users through a multi-step form. I have certain optional fields that I want the user to be able to fill, but not obliged to fill, e.g. Apartment/Suite/Building # for address.If I set the step to Next or Done button, they can’t fill in the field.If I set the step to Fill in the Field, they must fill in the field.How can I manage this use-case?Thanks,Peter

Hi - we offer a free tool that assigns a unique download URL for the prospect that stores in a field in Salesforce. I’d like to be able to match the lead in the chat by email and then pull their download URL for them from their record in Salesforce. What’s the best way to achieve this? We have the field syncing from Salesforce to Intercom currently but not sure how to pull the information into the conversation once they provide their email. TIA!

Hi there, I have a single page app. I’m having some issues being able to set up series or subsequent events on the same page.The behavior I want:Welcome post Dismiss or click a link in the post Launch a product tour on the same page without any other interaction. I’ve tried two ways:Launch post and then product tour in the same series. The issue that I’m having is that when I dismiss the post, the product tour does not launch without a page refresh. (The post AND the product tour is on the same page). Launch post, click a link in the post to a the product tour (show tour anywhere link) or insert the product tour directly (displays the product tour name and description with a link).  The issue that I’m having here is that when the user completes the product tour, the post pops back up.  Is there something I’m missing here?Why won’t the product tour launch without a page refresh? Why doesn’t Intercom treat a link click as a dismiss? Or is there a way to do this? I’ve tried tagging and h

Message goals should be able to target segments or allow for the same filtering and/or options used to build segments. Limiting users to just one binary goal creates a lot of bad reporting for us. Has anyone found a way around this?

Hi can I use a custom action and/or custom object in a series (not in a bot).  ex.  I would like to send an email after fetching data from an external API using a GET request.  This action will be triggered by the user’s place in the series, NOT by them sending a message to us.   

I’m passing the window.location.hostname to intercom as custom_attribute as Intercom(“boot”,{appId:”myappId”,myHostName:window.location.hostname}.in Intercom article , I want to access that myHostName custom_attrubute and append the path likehttps://{{myHostName}}/pathtospecificpage.like above I’m expecting inside an article , as my app will get deployed in different environments like dev,sit and uat, in that case inside intercom article appending the myHostName is must as per my requirement . but currently intercom is not supporting to pass custom_attributes . But this feature is much needed for my requirement.so please help me to resolve this issue.

Hey!1 - When an article is unavailable in a certain language, a default message appears.Can this message either be edited (e.g. adding “Try searching with English or another language set as your Help Center language”), or could there automatically be suggested direct links to this article in other languages if available?2 - When users use the search bar with keywords in their native language (e.g. German), but the help center is set in another language (e.g. English), it can happen that they will not see search results, even though there is content available if they searched with the right language set.One workaround that we think about is to add placeholder articles catching the most common keywords, then forwarding to the right version from there – but: not scaleable, lots of manual work.Instead: Could Intercom suggest that there are no results for this search in the current language, but there are in another language?What are possible other workarounds?Looking forward for ideas &amp

So, my requirement is that I want to start a series for a user when a tag is added to them. Let’s say I add the tag user-email-not-verified, and they get added to a series (which will walk them through the steps to verify their email) However, I’ve not been able to figure out how to do it yet without using events. Can anyone please help. 

We would like to send transactional emails using your Visual Email Template editor, but include attachments (like say an invoice) to the Email? Is this something that you support either via your web application or API?I know that we can add a file to the editor but we need a way to attach a PDF file we generate on the fly.

Our company has a platform that multiple clients are using. The websites they have are the same for UI elements and functions, but each client has a different URL. Hey, Youtube allows you to link to a video starting at a certain timecode. Are there any plans to not strip that parameter and allow sharing videos this way?

Is there any way to continue a numbered list in an article if you need to insert a screenshot or a callout in the middle of the list. The numbering always returns to 1. I have resorted to actually having to type in numbering which is obviously not a great way to maintain documentation. 

Can the default message for articles that are hidden behind login can be changed? 'The page isn't here anymore' is bad user experience, especially for client user type. They are shared a link to learn more and they see with bold ‘The page isn’t here anymore’ and with really small font to maybe try logging into the platform.

We want to trigger a custom app handler based on the link/button user clicks in the in-app message (web app). We do not want the user to navigate using this link, we rather want to get this event and react to it the way we need. How to do it? I.e. we want to open some particular page in our web app with some param. But messenger only allows us to insert link and users to navigate to those links directly.

I have a ticket set up for users to submit bugs. They click on an element, I launch the Messenger to have user create the ticket. However, I want to track the URL that the user was on when they submitted the bug/ticket.  Is there a way to do this?

I am able to update my support profile image, but can I update the floating/clickable chat icon that displays in my website? It’s currently the little text bubble icon/graphic. I would like it to be my profile image so my site users understand that they can click there and reach me.

An automated message was set up to send to the users after they onboard the programs. But the message is coming from an employee account who created those automated message templates. What I want to do is to dynamically changing the sender’s email address of the employees who is assigned to look after the particular user.  Is there a way to adjust the setting in intercom so these automated messages look like they are coming from that designated employee who is actually assigned to the user's account?  

I am using custom intercom launcher and want to use it in 'French' language. Therefore, I am using 'language_override' option.
