Hello,We are running Intercom 9.3.3 on iOS. Hello, We have a site and a mobile app. Our future vision is to stop native app development and instead, develop the website as a Progressive Web App - which behaves like a cross-platform mobile app on mobile devices. If we go this route, will our existing Product Tours (and other intercom features) automatically work on mobile devices? Please advise. Thanks!

In our application the language can be changed from "settings" and does not depend from device language. But your SDK choose language from the device settings and I have problem with that.How can I change SDK language?

Intercom allows the user to select an image but just after tapping Send the app crashes. GIFs are text messages are sent without any trouble. *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -[__NSPlaceholderDictionary initWithObjects:forKeys:count:]: attempt to insert nil object from objects[0]' 

I turned on Identity Verification and therefore need to set a user hash. The documentation states this to set the User Hash:When your iOS app initializes Intercom if the user is identified (i.e., you have a user id or email address), pass in a String of the HMAC returned from your server's authentication call. This should be called before any registration calls. I looked at the Intercom iOS sample app here. I do see that registerUser is called in two places:On app launch inside of: AppDelegate/didFinishLaunchingWithOptions (Objective-C sample) or SceneDelegate/willConnectTo (Swift sample)On user tapping login: handleUserLogin My question is: do I have to call setUserHash in both places as well? The documentation states I need to call setUserHash before any registration calls. I'm not sure if this means that I have to call it in both app launch and user tapping login. Could someone please confirm when to call setUserHash?

Intercom Conversations is sending multiple push notifications to our customer service team per message.

I used the intercom widget to post a bug report over 4 weeks ago and my conversation still says it's "not seen yet". Not a good look Intercom.  So now I'm going to try posting here and hope that somebody here can graciously be of help.  25% of our weekly crashes reported are coming from intercom. And all of it is coming from: [ICMUserIdentity isEqual:]  Currently version of the app in the store has:Intercom SDK - 8.0.0Compiled on XCode 12.1Support iOS 11.0 and higher. The large majority of our users have migrated to iOS 14 - so its not surprising necessarily that 95% of the crashes are from iOS 14 devices. I have no repro steps unfortunately - just the crash logs showing up in Crashlytics and Apple. We are working with mobile carousels on iOS but need to support different languages. We would like to trigger our carousels automatically. I see rules based off of browser language, but do not see anything for device language. From what I can tell the browser language is not getting set when the user is registered through the mobile SDK.

HelloI’m using the SDK 8.0 on iOS (Swift)But as soon as I import the SDK, I don’t see any variable anymore in the debug area of Xcode. It’s empty.When I type the po command in the debugger, the variables are not printed.Can you help please?

I work for a company that rents out vehicles. We've introduced a user attribute that displays the license plate of the vehicle that is being reserved. As soon as a user reserves a different vehicle, this attribute changes into a different license plate.  I want to be able to instantly start a chat, or send a message, as soon as this attribute changes. During our tests we were only able to send chats and posts when a user matches the rules at the start of their session when they launch our app, but not after that. Does anybody have any idea on how to send chats, post, carrousels etc. after the initial launch of our mobile app?

Hello, At the moment we use 7.1.0 iOS SDK and we've got hundreds of crashes with Intercom.setDeviceToken(:). However we can't reproduce this crash manually.​What could be wrong? Our method RemoteNotificationsCenter.setDeviceToken(_:) + 101 just pass deviceToken to the Intercom SDK.​​Here is stacktrace:And affected devices:Only once we caught this stacktrace:

The notifications on Intercoms Conversations iOS app aren't sending anymore - however Android is working fine.

Are there any xamarin bindings officialy from the intercom dev team? We're looking to add intercom to our application, we use xamarin native and we would need bindings, would be great to know if there are any available from intercom.

We've been using Intercom.framework in our iOS app for some time without issues. However we're upgrading to the Xcode 12.3 Release Candidate and have encountered a new error which fails our build: Building for iOS Simulator, but the linked and embedded framework 'Intercom.framework' was built for iOS + iOS Simulator. It appears that this latest version of Xcode is validating the original framework binary and well before "strip-frameworks.sh" is called.The error goes away if we manually remove the unneeded architectures from the source fat binary, but getting this right for all build flavours is going to be quite tricky. Are there any known or recommended workarounds? Is there a plan to update Intercom to using .xcframework as that would help this area too?

We have logged a couple of crashes on our app related to the intercom Cordova plugin, also some of our app users reported creating new topic. 1) One of the issue is when the user (iPhone 8, iOS 14.2) sending a message in a new conversation... the application crashes. The message has been sent but the app crashed. Check the example below (check video). Plugin version (cordova-plugin-intercom": "9.3.0") 2) Couple other crashes related to intercomSDK can be related to this issue. We have updated last time our cordova-plugin-intercom from Version ^8.0.0 to Version 9.3.0  Cordova iOS v5.1.1cordova-plugin-intercom Version [2.3.20200628] -> ^8.0.0 cordova-plugin-intercom Version [2.3.20201124] -> 9.3.0 Platform affected: only iOS

The version 7.1.2 of Intercom seems to be causing issues to some users. Look the screenshot below: This only started happening on iOS 14.0, this issue is visible on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Note the rounded border around the application. My application does not apply any mask in the app view. Did the version 8.0.0 meant to fix that? Could you please write a clear and sensible changelog instead of "The SDK has been updated to support iOS 14."?

I have set live a mobile carousel as an education screen for a section of my app.  When a user clicks on the screen, they are shown an overview of the screen and what they need to do to make the most of it (its a finance app so this includes linking an account) Currently the carousel plays when a user first clicks to the screen but when they have 'completed' the carousel it doesnt show again (even if they still match the rules).  I want to show this carousel to all users who haven't completed the goal (link an account) regardless of whether they have completed it before.  Any tips?

The iOS SDK is crashing our app anytime a push notification is received in the background and sometimes even in the foreground on iOS 14. ** I have attempted to report this to Intercom via the messenger and haven't received a response in > 4 days. ** Our mobile app is built on Ionic and we are using Firebase messaging as our main push notification service. If the Intercom SDK is installed in the project - the app will crash when a background notification is received - and on iOS 14 - sometimes even when in the foreground. This has required us to completely remove the SDK. It has been identified that the mere presence of the SDK - even if we don't call or reference it in code - causes this issue. We have since removed it and had 0 crashes.

In app I already have FirebaseMessagingService for my own service. And yes, I read "Step 7. Using Intercom with other FCM setups (Optional)" in tutorial, but it doesn`t work for me. Does anybody knows what the problem might be? Also want to add:*If I create clean Firebase project, Intercom pushes is worked.*But if I use main Firebase project, which is already used in the app, then Intercom pushes don`t work.

When our team was reviewing Intercom, our contact told us that it was possible to install 2 apps on one Workspace. We have 2 apps (for both iOS and Android). Do we use the same API for both apps?
