I am curious if this feature was added, because ii saw some threads where was mentioned that is possible to add this feature in future releases

Hi guys, We are having an issue with Intercom's chat on a react-native app, on IOS. The chat works perfectly fine just until you open a modal view. After opening and closing it, if you try to open the chat the text field will be missing, so users won't be able to reach us. There is also a weird UI glitch showing the textfield coming from the top sometimes, and suddenly disappearing. We are using this react-native-intercom library fro the implementation, and the issue has been reproduced in both IOS 13 and 14 beta, on both an Iphone 6s and Iphone Xr. Please, find attached a video showing the weird behaviour. As you can see, the chat works as expected in the first 3 attempts. Then, after opening and closing the Navigation modal, the chat UI is missing its text field. Does anyone ever experienced anything similar? Any workaround? We have been trying to debug this with no luck. Thanks in advance for your time 🙂   

I'm developing android app using intercom (React native android). Currently I'm facing problem that's intercom doesn't update for new message comming. Only update when I open conversation from launcher or kill the app and open again. Please help

I received a security alert from Google Play Console when I uploaded a recent app build. The issue is caused by: io.intercom.android.sdk.utilities.IntentUtils.safelyOpenIntent Attached is a screenshot showing the issue.

After installing Intercom SDK using CocoaPods I get a build error trying to run my app on a physical device (on the iOS simulator everything works fine). The error I get is: building for iOS, but linking in dylib file (/Users/zivnergal/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/MishlohaDeliveryApp-axgsnxqfnywcgrevkhngnimsxuzw/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/Intercom.framework/Intercom) built for iOS Simulator, file '/Users/zivnergal/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/MishlohaDeliveryApp-axgsnxqfnywcgrevkhngnimsxuzw/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/Intercom.framework/Intercom' for architecture arm64 Anyone faced this issue?🙏

We're switching from Carthage to SwiftPM and found that the Intercom SDK doesn't include dSYMs when installed via SwiftPM, unlike other binary SDKs we've installed such as Instabug. I just want to let the iOS team at Intercom know so they can add them but apparently all we have is a community supported forum. Does anyone from Intercom read the forums? How can I actually tell someone who can do something about it?

I installed the Android Intercom SDK (version 8.2) following the instructions. My app has the ability to connect to our test/QA environment as well as our production environment. We have within Intercom 2 appIds, one for production and one for testing. After the user selects which environment they will be authenticated which at that time we call Intercom.Initialize(application, apiKey, appId). Depending on the environment this is the Ids for QA or Production. However in Android this switch does not occur and only uses the set of Ids it is first given on startup. Is it possible to switch within the app for Android. The iOS app works as expected and does switch between production and qa.

Encountered a new crash on our latest release. So far there's only been one crash but because we set our outbound rules to a set of people I'm just slightly concerned if it might be a bigger issue if we don't actually have the filters. Hey, Is there a way to opt out tracking if the user does not want to send data? I have a toggle in my app that allows the user to disable analytics & tracking. Once the iOS SDK initialised, is there a way to opt out tracking? I tried to use the .logout() method in the SDK but it does not work. Events and updates are still sent to Intercom (which seems to be a bug?).  For example, Mixpanel allows us to do that: https://developer.mixpanel.com/docs/swift#opting-users-out-of-tracking/p> It's great, and Intercom should offer the same.Thanks,Axel

Hello,We are running Intercom 9.3.3 on iOS. Hello, We have a site and a mobile app. Our future vision is to stop native app development and instead, develop the website as a Progressive Web App - which behaves like a cross-platform mobile app on mobile devices. If we go this route, will our existing Product Tours (and other intercom features) automatically work on mobile devices? Please advise. Thanks!

In our application the language can be changed from "settings" and does not depend from device language. But your SDK choose language from the device settings and I have problem with that.How can I change SDK language?

Intercom allows the user to select an image but just after tapping Send the app crashes. I turned on Identity Verification and therefore need to set a user hash. The documentation states this to set the User Hash:When your iOS app initializes Intercom if the user is identified (i.e., you have a user id or email address), pass in a String of the HMAC returned from your server's authentication call. This should be called before any registration calls. I looked at the Intercom iOS sample app here. I do see that registerUser is called in two places:On app launch inside of: AppDelegate/didFinishLaunchingWithOptions (Objective-C sample) or SceneDelegate/willConnectTo (Swift sample)On user tapping login: handleUserLogin My question is: do I have to call setUserHash in both places as well? The documentation states I need to call setUserHash before any registration calls. I'm not sure if this means that I have to call it in both app launch and user tapping login. Could someone please confirm when to call setUserHash?

Intercom Conversations is sending multiple push notifications to our customer service team per message.

I used the intercom widget to post a bug report over 4 weeks ago and my conversation still says it's "not seen yet". Not a good look Intercom.  So now I'm going to try posting here and hope that somebody here can graciously be of help.  25% of our weekly crashes reported are coming from intercom. And all of it is coming from: [ICMUserIdentity isEqual:]  Currently version of the app in the store has:Intercom SDK - 8.0.0Compiled on XCode 12.1Support iOS 11.0 and higher. The large majority of our users have migrated to iOS 14 - so its not surprising necessarily that 95% of the crashes are from iOS 14 devices. I have no repro steps unfortunately - just the crash logs showing up in Crashlytics and Apple. We are working with mobile carousels on iOS but need to support different languages. We would like to trigger our carousels automatically. I see rules based off of browser language, but do not see anything for device language. From what I can tell the browser language is not getting set when the user is registered through the mobile SDK.

HelloI’m using the SDK 8.0 on iOS (Swift)But as soon as I import the SDK, I don’t see any variable anymore in the debug area of Xcode. It’s empty.When I type the po command in the debugger, the variables are not printed.Can you help please?

I work for a company that rents out vehicles. We've introduced a user attribute that displays the license plate of the vehicle that is being reserved. As soon as a user reserves a different vehicle, this attribute changes into a different license plate.  I want to be able to instantly start a chat, or send a message, as soon as this attribute changes. During our tests we were only able to send chats and posts when a user matches the rules at the start of their session when they launch our app, but not after that. Does anybody have any idea on how to send chats, post, carrousels etc. after the initial launch of our mobile app?

Hello, At the moment we use 7.1.0 iOS SDK and we've got hundreds of crashes with Intercom.setDeviceToken(:). However we can't reproduce this crash manually.​What could be wrong? The notifications on Intercoms Conversations iOS app aren't sending anymore - however Android is working fine.
