Why are my Product Tours showing multiple times?

Product Tours are showing multiple times even though I have set them to 'Only once'. The users are starting to complain.

Triggering a one-time tour on button click that trigger also other action?

Hello,I wrote that in the comment of other topic, but I think better ask separately, so again: I’m wondering if it’s possible to trigger the startTour method only once. In my case, the user triggers two actions with one button. One action in the system second is the tour.I want to show the tour only once, and the next time the user clicks the button they just use the feature. I did that because when a user triggers an action they enable a feature that needs to be toured. However, url stays the same so couldn't use the URL. Any other tricks? Can I use CSS to change the styling of my product tour?

I currently have a couple of product tours running in our product, and I was wondering if I could add some CSS to my product that will change the styling of the product tour? There's a couple of things we wish to update to integrate it a bit more in the product, beyond the options Intercom currently offers.

Product Tour callback (detect when started)

Hey, Do the Product Tours javascript intergration offer a Javascript callback? I want to identify (on site) when a product tour has started for a user. Flow: User visits a given page on the website Product Tour starts I need to check if a certain element is on the page as this is used by the tour. There is a few user cases when it wont, and I therefore need to run some custom (on site) Javascript to show that element. Workflows or webhooks won’t help in this situation, as I need to check and show the on-site element as soon as the tour starts. (well, actually before step 3) Ideas: Javascript callback when the tour is started OR Javascript callback when a ‘next’ button is clicked on the tour OR another way to programatically (on-site) determine either of the above. If this is entirely not possible, is there a way to detect if a user is due the tour? At the moment the tour uses normal settings within the Intercom > Product Tour (i.e. show once, the first time the user meets given criteri

Is there a way to add advanced triggers / rules into product tours?

I am looking to add Product Tours to some of my 'Manage Bookings' pages, the issue is that the Product Tour wouldn't be of any use if the user hasn't yet got any bookings (when they open the page for the first time and the product tour runs). I'm looking for a way to only trigger the product tour when the user has their first booking, which can be seen on the 'Manage Bookings' page. At the moment the only rules you can add to trigger the Product Tour are based on the page URL, which isn't great as our site doesn't use the URL to distinguish whether the user has any bookings on the page. Is there a way to trigger the product tour when a certain CSS element appears on the page, or maybe a particular ID?

My designed product tour is not loading

Hi support, I’m having a problem with my product tour, i design it and i can see it in the preview working fine but when i check it on the site i cannot find anyhting no matter what i do, the tour does not appear ! By the way, i’m using an angular application, i installed intercom in my app and i’m calling its service.Inside the app component ngOnInit i call the boot method and i pass my intercom user ID this.intercom.boot({ app_id: this.APP_ID }); On the live production, i can see the messenger and i can interact with my help desk in my intercom account.I’ve created a product tour and it should appear when i login and i set the time for it to appear as “last seen” and i configured everything else but it still does not appear when i login and even when i wait for an amout of time nothing happens. Could someone help me !!!

Tour everywhere issues

We are creating product tours for customers with different URLs. We are having an issue where we create the tour in one account, and it is not working for another account.Some of the tours won't even start on another account; some get stuck a couple of steps later. We created all of them the same way and see inconsistencies.Has anyone encountered this, and what solution did you find to the problem?

Intercom Product Tour does not load

Hi, I've been using Intercom Messenger on our Angular web app, and it seems to be working perfectly fine so far. However, we decided to also use the new Product Tour feature for new users, since we already have Intercom Messenger, but when I try using the Product Tour builder and entering the address to the prod site (with the Intercom Messenger integrated) it loads the page up but then shows an alert that says "Sorry, we can't load the tools to build Product Tours on your website. Please make sure the Intercom Messenger is installed on the URL you have chosen to build your tour". This is odd because when the page loads I can see the Intercom Messenger icon on the bottom left of the screen. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Can the carousels of your design be visible on mobile or iPad?

Hi, I am working on the design of the Intercom carrousels for our mobile application, my question is that it would be nice to be able to visualise our carrousel on mobile and iPad in the future before clicking on "Live".

Product Tour for website on mobile phone

Hello We schedule a product for onboarding 28k users. At the end only 4K saw the product tour, the problem is all the other register on the website but on mobile phone. Product Tour does not work mobile ? Is the only way to reach those people is to create e mobile carroussel ? Bur for me mobile carrousel is for SDK et non responsive website right ? How to handle those people ? Thanks 🎈

Hello, I'm trying to build a product tour like this www.domain.com/path : post "how to" www.domain.com/path/#/step1 : pointer A www.domain.com/path/#/step2 : pointer B www.domain.com/path/#/step3 : pointer C www.domain.com/path/#/step4 : post "congrats" where # is a different number each time & where step1 changes name at each step Is is feasible with Intercom? Is it possible to wild card dynamic URLs for product tours?

Our app has a lot of dynamically generated identifiers that fill portions of our URLs. These IDs change depending on the user, the project, the company, etc. So what I'm trying to figure out is how I can make this example URL: domain.com/projects/38918-3891-38939/company/492389183 ...work for everyone no matter which project or company they're in. I've seen the concept of wildcarding before in other apps where the above URL would be reflected as: domain.com/projects/*/company/* So that no matter what ID comes in the place of the *, the URL will trigger the action. Any input on this would be fantastic. Thanks!

Issue with Page Reload on Product Tour Link Click

I've integrated a Product Tour link into a banner using Intercom. However, I've encountered an issue where clicking on the Product Tour link causes the page to refresh itself before initiating the tour. Ideally, the tour should start seamlessly since the banner appears on the same page where the tour begins. Is there a method to prevent this page from reloading upon clicking the link? Thanks!

User Error in Product Tour

Our team noticed as testing our product tour that on one of the steps if the user clicks the wrong element or step it then messes up all of the following steps and reverts from elements to just having a message pop up in the middle of the screen. Any solution?

Guided Users for Product Tours - Overages

I see that the base plan includes 1,000 guided users using our product tours. But what happens when we exceed 1,000? I can’t seem to find any pricing information around what it looks like at 2,000, 5,000 or 10,000 guided users in a month?

Product Tour Does not Loaded on Axure Cloud Server as plugin, but Intercom Messenger do successfully installed

Hi all, I have installed successfully Intercom Messenger as Plugin on Axure Cloud Server workspace. Most of the function from Intercom work perfectly ie: checklist,tasks, messages But just [product tour] does not load , and after I selected the destination pages, nothing happened. I have attached a few error print screen I have found in “developed mode - console” Can any expert can give me a hand please? I have trying to solve this issue with Intercom and Axure both support team for more than a week, but still don’t have clue on solution I will be much thankful to hear any suggestion. Thank you so much Really appreciated from your help. It does not load, but Intercom Messenger do succesfully installed on the webpage product tour destinated URL page, but cannot loadup error I suspest is due to this error, but have no idea on how to fix it

Tours set to Live don't trigger under listed conditions

Product Tour Missing CSS Selector Problem

Hi, I’m having a problem setting up a product tour. One of my steps asks users to download our plugin, however, a small set of our users might have already installed it, meaning the “Download Plugin” button won’t exist. Here’s the info I saw in another post: “If the pointer step in a tour is unable to identify the correct element on the page because the CSS selector associated with the tour step and the CSS selector associated with element on your site do not match, the pointer step will instead show as a “post” step.” I’m facing an issue here - this post step that defaults has no option for customers to press Next or Skip. Meaning if the CSS selector isn’t there, there’s no “if” logic for a user to be able to manually move onto the next step. Is there a way to allow users to move onto the next step if the above occurs?
