I added some custom attributes like lead_id and lead_email.I tried to send those under custom_attributes or directly. Both failed. intercom.boot({ ...additionalSettings, .lead_id: visitorId, lead_email: email,}); intercom.boot({ ...additionalSettings, custom_attributes: {lead_id: visitorId, lead_email: email},});I expect to see those in contact.merged or contact.user.created or contact.user.updated Webhooks but could not.

I’ve noticed FIN closing some conversations because the user didn’t explicitly confirm escalation, even though the conditions for escalation were met. The rules I set were: Escalate if the user shows negative or neutral sentiment. Escalate when the user provides all required information. Escalate when the user requests escalation. The issue is that when a user provides all the information and FIN sends the escalation message “An agent will be with you soon,” it later follows with “Is there anything else I can help you with?”If the user responds with something like “No,” FIN ignores the first escalation message and treats the user’s “No” as a signal to close the chat. Instead of keeping the ticket open for an agent, it ends the conversation.

Does anyone have a solid work around to export reports, including all the charts, as they appear in Intercom? I'd like to share these with internal stakeholders who don't have access to Intercom.Currently, only function is to download the underline data or screenshot the report 😅 - where is I really just want to send the report to stakeholders.

Hi. Creating a new topic as the existing ones about this are quite old.I’m new to Intercom (used HubSpot before). My customer support team used to receive all messages on MS Teams. I see that Intercom doesn’t have an out-of-the box integration with Teams. Is there any 3rd party solution for this or has anyone achieved this in a relatively simple way?Thanks!

When fetching conversations via the Conversations API (GET /conversations/{id}), I’ve noticed a difference between WhatsApp images and WhatsApp audio messages. Image messages include full attachments data (URL, content_type, filesize, etc.). Audio messages, however, show attachments: [], even though the Intercom Inbox UI displays an audio clip. The only extra field is external_id with a WhatsApp wamid, but no file URL or metadata. I'm syncing documentation from Notion to Intercom and I’m looking for a better way to handle internal and public articles.Current workflow: All documentation is written in Notion. I use Intercom’s native Notion sync, but it only creates internal articles. I then use Make.com to read those internal articles via Intercom APIs and create/update public articles with the same title and body. I'd like to also copy the tags from the internal articles, but I can't find a way to access them through the API. My questions: Is it possible to retrieve the tags assigned to internal articles via the API or any other method? Is there a better or more official way to convert internal articles into public ones while preserving metadata like tags? Any guidance or recommended approaches would be appreciated!

Hi everyone,We’re currently using Tags as our main way of classifying conversations in Intercom (e.g. product area, issue type, billing, cancellations, etc.). It’s starting to feel a bit messy and hard to report on, so we’re considering moving to a small set of Conversation Attributes instead, and using Tags only for campaigns/one-offs and stuff like that.I’m looking for advice from teams who’ve actually done this: How did you decide which things should be Attributes vs Tags? Which Attributes do you find the most useful for reporting (e.g. issue type, product area, plan tier, outcome, churn reason)? Did you make any fields mandatory before closing a conversation? If so, how many before it became annoying for agents? How did you handle the transition period? Did you backfill old conversations or just start from a certain date? We’re also using Fin and I’d love any tips on that side: Are you using Fin to help set Attributes (directly or indirectly)? Do you let Fin apply Tags/inte

Hello,I work on a platform and they are using intercom for their live support chat. I am using for several months and it worked perfectly. But now for over a week, it keeps loading here:  I’ve talked with them via email and even they’re shocked. They don’t know what’s wrong, neither do I. I’ve cleared cache, relogged in, and changed browser, nothing worked. Can anybody please help me out in this regard? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I want to know how to write bold text as an user that messaging with the company?Tried to do markup syntax but nothing works, the only thing that seems to be working is <br> tag which breaks a line, is it possible at all to write bold text as an user?

a lot of inbound emails come in to my support mailboxes with multiply people on the email and I would like us to send out the CSAT email to all people in the conversation.

There should be an option to export all media in a conversation. I am looking through a conversation and selecting pictures  one by one; which takes way too long. There should be an option to not only export the conversation, but to export all media to a compressed folder.

Has anyone built/use anything that syncs Intercom Notes into Salesforce Chatter? I’m relatively new to this world and wondering if this is possible out of the box or needs custom work.

Error: Cannot infer type of function call or No exact matches in call to function 'loginUser' Behavior: Happens inconsistently across machines — some developers see the correct Swift interface and can compile fine, others cannot. I would love to have an option to involve in only for collecting conversation Attributes. Right now it is not possible and any workaround works.  Even if I create a special tag/inbox for collecting attributes Fin must be involved which means even if it meet the escalation rule, it will reply that the conversation has been passed on. I would like Fin working in the background, collecting attributes from ALL conversations.  Maybe managing the Fin’s steps (in Let Fin handle nod in workflows) would be a solution. I mean turning off using content, guidances and leaving just collecting attributes would do the trick.
