We're using the custom launcher on our website and it seems that randomly the script will eat clicks to the component and not launch the messenger. Is there any debugging suggestions for how this might happen? We've debugged using dev tools and clicking on the element with no console errors or anything else that might signal why it's just eating the clicks and not popping up the messenger. We don't have any click handlers and only pass in the class so we're not sure what else we could do to fix this problem.  > custom_launcher_selector:'#my_custom_link' Has this ever been reported before?

Hello, I do not find the solution neither in report or API so I ask the question.I would like to extract (interrface, csv or api) the number of conversations per user & customer but also the number of messages par user / customer The idea is to be able to report and take decision according to those statistic. Thanks for any help on this. Sylvain

We've got an SPA with different articles per page, we've set up rules to change the articles in the messenger dependant on the current URL, and when the route is changed we fire the 'update' including a timestamp back to Intercom. This works ok if the messenger starts closed and is then opened up (the correct articles for the current URL will show). But if the messenger is already opened on the first page and has loaded the articles, when toggling to the new page nothing changes until toggling the messenger closed then opened again. Toggling the messenger in the front end feels like the wrong solution, is there a right one? 😇  Thanks

How can I create a Contact with `utm_*` labels via API v2.5?

We are trying to create a contact with the role user, but on sending `external_id` in request, it's not getting returned in the response. Also it doesn't show up in the properties of the created contact in the dashboard. And using the search api with that `external_id` returns no results. I am working on making a canvas kit app. In experimenting with button types, I have found that the url button types are clickable both by the chat user and the teammate responding to the chat. Compare this to an app with a submit button, which is greyed out on the teammate side and is not clickable. Is there a way to prevent a url type button from being clicked by the teammate? (In our use case, we want the url button to be a feedback survey, but we only want the chat user to be able to access the button, not the teammate). Alternatively, is there a way to redirect to a url from a submit type button? I experimented a little with having the server respond to the submit webhook with a redirect status (such as 301 or 307) but this has not worked. Thanks in advance for any help or workarounds. Image: chat on the right shows the teammate view, where the url button is clickable and the submit button is greyed out.

I have NPS surveys set up in Intercom, but the responses aren't showing up in the attributes within the user. Does anyone know how to set this up so that when someone completes the survey and provides feedback, I can go into the user's profile and see that they submitted an NPS score?

I'm simply trying to make a post that highlights all the new things we added to our help center. However, if the user takes the action of opening the help center, it shows the post (instead of the help center) . Is there a work-around??

We recently changed our operation so we no longer have a human support team available via our chat (they are email only). To field requests, we've set up the resolution bot and custom bots to handle everything possible. For the most part, it is functioning properly. However, there are conversations that will be assigned to our bot inbox, before the bot sends an answer, the conversation will be changed to "Unassigned" so it is no longer covered by the bot.  Does anyone have experience with this? It doesn't happen consistently or in any discernible pattern (such as users vs. visitors - it happens with both) where I can determine what the setting is. Thanks in advance!

Hi there! I'm a noob when it comes to API stuff, so just still trying to figure it all out.I'm attempting to setup a Zapier hook to pull a total number of conversations with a particular tag on them. Wondering if this is possible? I can see by this https://developers.intercom.com/intercom-api-reference/reference/conversation-counts I'm able to get the total count of conversations, but it doesn't specify if I'm able to also add a filter by tag. For some context that may or not be helpful, for customers that are affected by a bug we'll assign them the relevant bug tag. We can filter by this in reports, but if I can do it as an API call then I can get it into our Notion page which would be super handy. Finally, (and very optionally since it's probably not that related to Intercom lol) any basic advice on how I could implement an API call into Zapier? Say you have 3 different free trial buttons, but you want all of those to trigger the same custom bot. Is there a way to do this, or should I duplicate the bots to be linked to their own button/element on my website?
