Why is my Messenger ping timing out?

I cannot integrate to my web site. POST https://api-iam.intercom.io/messenger/web/pingnet::ERR_TIMED_OUT I did flow the integration to my web page but I got the error and dont know why. Im sure that I check all steps, copy script from the dashboard(included the app_id)... This took me a very long time. please help. Im using trial plan.

Canvas Kit App button is clickable by teammates if app button is url type. Is there a way to prevent this?

I am working on making a canvas kit app. In experimenting with button types, I have found that the url button types are clickable both by the chat user and the teammate responding to the chat. Compare this to an app with a submit button, which is greyed out on the teammate side and is not clickable. Is there a way to prevent a url type button from being clicked by the teammate? (In our use case, we want the url button to be a feedback survey, but we only want the chat user to be able to access the button, not the teammate). Alternatively, is there a way to redirect to a url from a submit type button? I experimented a little with having the server respond to the submit webhook with a redirect status (such as 301 or 307) but this has not worked. Thanks in advance for any help or workarounds. Does data from Salesforce sync with Intercom through the Salesforce app?

We have integrated Intercom with Salesforce. We now like to send smart messages through Intercom based on updated dialogue and data from Salesforce, but it looks to us that it does sync both ways?

Custom Button in Conversation Details

Hi There! I'm looking to see if it's possible to add a custom button in the Conversation Details section when viewing a conversation. The idea behind it would be to create a ticket in Shortcut (formerly Clubhouse) when the button is clicked. It would take necessary info from the Conversation and POST it to the Shortcut API. Has anyone done something like this? I know it is possible to do something like this through Zapier, but we only need SOME of our conversations turned into tickets - Zapier works off triggers and wouldn't be smart enough to know which conversations we want turned into tickets. How can I send a Delighted survey when a conversation is closed?

The documentation for the Delighted integration claims to have an option to trigger a survey send when the conversation is closed, but I'm not seeing that option during set up. Do I have to create a segment for recently closed conversations? Has anyone successfully set this up? I was excited when I saw the integration but it doesn't behave as advertised.

Hello, Intercom community. I'm working on a wider list of languages to support and would like to ask if someone faced the same task and have some advice to share. Help Portal - open and shut case, Intercom has a convenient system to manage articles in different languages. Series - It seems that a separate series for each language should be created? Looks like a hustle. Maybe there are some workarounds that I'm not aware of? Inbox - Is there any app that would make it easier for a human agent to chat in different languages (incoming/outgoing messages translator or smth like that) All advice will be highly appreciated. 👐

Receiving hits of Intercom Webhook twice with same payload.

I have configured intercom webhook for user.created, user.replied and admin.replied. Now when i reply to a conversation i only receive one hit for webhook which is working fine. But when i reply from intercom parrot as a customer, i am receiving 2 different hits with same payload for user.replied with a difference of few mili-seconds. I am attaching screenshots of both payloads with time received and of the topics selected for webhook

[Bug] Intercom breaks on SPA while navigating back & forth via browser navigation buttons

To reproduce this bug I used this repository project https://github.com/intercom/example-single-page-app-install which contains bare minimum - react router & intercom. Follow the instructions to set it up in repository description. Steps to reproduce: Open the project on new tab/page (without any navigation history) Click on About and then on Home links Open up the intercom and wait till it loads it's contents Go back in navigation history 2 times Go forth in navigation history 2 times Intercom breaks / becomes unresponsive and transparent There may be more ways of reproducing this bug, but this is the most consistent that I found.

How to test the install flow of the App before making it public on Intercom app store

As I understand from here, we need to pass the app install URL. Our developers have written the messenger app install flow, but how can we test it? I didn't see any option to install the application. Although, just because it is a private application, it is automatically available in the messenger. But how can we validate the install and uninstall flow? As I can see here in the install & uninstall section, it doesn't call my install URL specified, but just install it on the workspace. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Pass user from Outgrow back to Intercom

Hi, we have a custom bot that we've built and we are running it on this page - https://usndemo.wpengine.com/weddings/venues/.We have some standard Intercom paths that serve up options and information and in one of the paths (Provide an Estimate) we are pulling in an Outgrow.co survey app that we have built. The hand off to Outgrow works pretty well. But when you get to the end of our survey we want to pass the user back to Intercom to continue the conversation and ask more questions. We can't seem to figure this out. Outgrow has given some recommendations on having their app redirect back to the URL (which is in place on the link above) but it's a very poor user experience. Hoping that there is some option within Intercom to make this more graceful. Or maybe we've set this up all wrong and there is a better approach overall? I've looked and searched and can't find anything, but hoping maybe I'm missing something? Thank you.

Intercom App Signed Request verification failing

Even when I set a link, the error message is always "This field can't be blank". Do I need to put an specific formatted url? I already know the field is not empty, so what is the error?

Creating Hubspot Tickets from Intercom Conversations

We are currently trying to implement a complete ticket tracking system from different channels like email inbox, intercom chats and aircall calls. We would like to automatically create Hubspot tickets based on Intercom conversations, but have not found a clever way to do that yet. Does anyone have experience on how to do that and would like to share? :)

Why are my Hubspot leads being passed from Intercom with the wrong country?

The leads created on Hubspot from intercom is being pushed with a wrong country information. Is there any work around as this is super crucial for lead assignment. I have setup the Hubspot-Intercom integration. Whenever a contact is created on Hubspot from Intercom automatically the country info passed along is wrong and stays as USA all the time. For example, Intercom has found the country info based on IP for this contact as India: However, when this contact is auto created in Hubspot the info passed on is USA :( Is there any fix for this?
