My company recently switched over to Intercom and we made the decision to utilize the Data Sync by Hubspot app so we could pipe user / company data back and forth between Intercom and Hubspot. However, what I failed to realize is that we aren’t able to sync conversations and tickets in Intercom into Hubspot activities. I see that this is possible with Intercom’s Hubspot app integration. I’m wondering if it’s possible to utilize both apps in tandem, however, my main hesitation is that I see the potential to have user data duplicated. Or if a user already exists in Hubspot, do the conversations auto-sync to that contact? Any guidance on this is much appreciated.

Looking for effective ways to optimize API usage, implement retries, or increase limits (Read More). Any best practices or solutions to handle this efficiently without hitting restrictions? Appreciate any insights!

We are using Jira for tickets with the basic mode. In it, I created custom workflows. I made several workflows, and they were working fine, allowing tasks to be created in Jira. However, at some point, all of them stopped working and started returning a 401 Unauthorized error. Even though we completely reinstalled Jira for Tickets in Intercom yesterday. Now, none of my custom workflows are working. I found articles where people reported the same problem. Is there a solution?

I am looking for a way to automatically start new Whatsapp conversations—using approved Templates (triggered by events that are synced from the product to IC).I know that this is not possible with the current Whatsapp integration and that only 1:1 conversations can be started via the Inbox.Does anyone have any ideas on how I could implement this? Has a workaround perhaps been found?If not, an external solution would also be conceivable. I would be grateful for any advice.

Anybody achieved to transfer Intercom conversations to a Hubspot Company's profile?

When the Create Jira Issue automation is completed the Intercom ticket will not link to the Jira ticket. The Custom Action log shows a successful action and the objects look like they have been correctly mapped. However, the Jira for Tickets inbox app highlights an error saying ‘try again later’. When I try and manually link an existing tick (or the ticket that was created through the Custom Action), the app shows 1 ticket found, but no option to link the tickets. In all app documentation, images of the workflow builder show only one jira_issue_key mapping after completion of the action. But my workflow shows 2 instances of the object mapping. I’m not sure if this is causing the issue, but I don’t see why there would be a reason to map the jira_issue_key twice.

Does anyone know how to contact Userfeed? With Bump no longer supported nor present in the available apps, we are trying to stop payment. Would like to avoid going through our bank to stop payment, but have been unable to reach anyone at Userfeed directly. Any help would be great! 

Hi Everyone, if there are any possibilities to embed a javascript intercom chat widget in Salesforce Lightning Community. All my attempts to do this faced that widget script blocking by the Salesforce Locker Service. Although it is indicated that Salesforce is fully supported by Intercom Perhaps there is any best practice or documentation describing how to embed a script in Salesforce Lightning.

Hi there,The integration was successful and without errors. We can receive messages from users normally, but when FIN tries to respond or our team tries to respond from Intercom, we receive the error in the screenshot attached.When I contacted Intercom support, they gave me the following error message in the backend:"App doesn't have human agent tag access"anyone can help?thanks

I'm using Intercom in my React.js PWA,but the tool's default styles don't account for 'safe-area's, causing issues on devices with notches, such as the iPhone. Hello! I’m new to our Intercom/Salesforce Integration and have been asked to troubleshoot an issue.In our Salesforce integration we have cases configured to create automatically and automatically assign Intercom teammate as the case owner.We are seeing some cases created where the owner is assigned correctly, but other times the case is assigned to the owner who installed the app so I’m trying to figure out why this is happening.I'm wondering when exactly the case is created during the process of a conversation being started and then assigned to a team member. If there is lag time between when the conversation is created and a team member responds to take ownership, could the case get created during that lag time? Or does the case only create as soon as a team member responds? It makes sense to me if the case is created while still in the Inbox that it gets assigned to the person who installed the app, but I can’t find documentation anywhere that confirms that.

 connected IG and intercom and if someone send a DM it will open a conversation. But I cant figure out how to add the profile information to intercom’s right menu like profile link or number of followers. 

I’m building a custom Inbox application and would like to know the best way, if possible, to open a modal within the app.For example, in the native Intercom Shopify app, a modal is triggered when the agent clicks on 'Create Order.' Can anyone share the most effective approach to achieve this functionality? I’ve read the documentation and can only see an iFrame style approach for Messenger apps, not Inbox.
