I am testing the intercom chat with a Dev account.We want to test it before buying it.I am able to popup the intercom box, but I am not seeing the input text to write a message (see the attachment image)Any idea why we can't send message ? 

How can I setup a rule so when we receive an email to sales@ourdomain.com it goes to a specific team? I'm testing it and it's not working.

I'm using the Cordova SDK to natively integrate Intercom messenger into my iOS & Android mobile apps. I'm having issues with Identity Verification for iOS Users, always throws an error.  My app is using Ionic Framework with ReactJS. So far I've only noticed this error on iOS, with many Users. Please see the screenshot. It's in Ukrainian, but it basically said, ops, something went wrong, we couldn't load any content, please refresh. Refreshing doesn't help. :)  This bug was seen on iPhone X / Xs / 12 / 13, and iOS 15.6 - 16.1.1. So likely this isn't related to a specific OS or device.   Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 

I have made a custom action that makes a GET request to one of our services. The form looks like this when filled in: However when providing test values, spaces are (imo incorrectly) mapped to +-signs. For example when i enter: I can see the request at my service is coming in with a value like "Collegekaart+&+gebouwen". Even when i provide the parameter as an URL-encoded value it does not work.Could someone help me?  Thank you in advance.

I want to look at my time-to-close metric, but I want to make it not include snoozed time. I would be ok with doing it manually by seeing time snoozed and doing the math. Is this possible?

I have a push notification that I want to send on the Sunday 7+ days after an event occurs. I have an exit event that could happen at any time.  My scenario: So a user enters the series on a Friday. It waits 7 days which puts them on the next Friday and it schedules the message to send on Sunday (2 days later). On the following day, Saturday, the exit event happens. Will they be removed from the push sending? Or will they still get it because it was scheduled? I want it to not send FYI.

Hi all. Would anyone be able to assist me with intercom code - identifying logged-in / v logged-out users on Kajabi?

With the API or from the UI, I can create custom data attributes. These attributes can have one of string, integer, float, boolean, or date values. However, I need to store a list of values in a field.  For example, a user (contact) can be in many teams at once in our system. But with the above model, I can only have one team at a time.  What are the possible ways to implement the above functionality with the API/SDK? Should I use tags, or something else? Thanks in advance.

I cannot hide messenger either by condition or just by turning it off, we have embedded the code rather than using GTM so not sure if that affects it. Any ideas? I am trying to turn the messenger off for a certain segment but couldn't get it to work so to test I turned it off completely for all users but it still shows.

Hi there, our company need to create post to show to our users and there are lots of limitations on their creations. For example:I would like to change the font colour to stand out some parts of it.I would like to change also the text to different sizes, like 14pt, 18pt so we can make some parts more important than others, at moment we just have H1, H2 and other.Also I couldn't align images with text, I only see options to get it centred or full size.Space between paragraphs and lines, cant be changed neither.Change button sizes.I am sure I will find some more issues as much as I start working on it.Thanks for your time.

If I wanted to have the intercom aligned to my service environment (Prod, Stage, Dev, QA ..) can I have multiple instances because I want to keep the user data separate is there a way to keep the content(checklist, template ..) replicated from one instance to another

I don't like the way emails are formatted when we respond back to our customers. My email signature is messed up, and the formatting is all wrong. Can we customize this?

We use Hubspot as our CRM and we have integrated it with Intercom in order to sync our customer data. In Hubspot it appears that the sync is on, but our customers are not being synced into Intercom as users. Any tips for getting this set up? Thanks!

I set up a Custom Object and Linked it to *both* the Person and Conversation objects, as stated in this article. In the Visual Editor, when I select Save reply... I don't see my attribute under the Person object and I don't see the Custom object.

Looking to integrate Intercom's product tour within our application. The application front end is built using web components. A technology that uses a concept called shadow dom. All images are served by downloads.intercomcdn.com and the robots.txt of this subdomain blocks them from indexing by search engines. As a result our pages look broken in search engines    

Here is again what I would like to do: 1. Recipients of a specific email gets automatically a specific tag2. Everyone with this tag lands automatically in a specific segment3. For setting up another email I can then say that this email should just go to people within this segment

Is there a way to create a bot that identifies the users Client manager (who isn't on intercom) and send that conversation directly to their Client manager?

I would like to push conversations to a Google Sheet in case the conversation is assigned to a specific team inbox.I can do it in case a tag is added to this conversation via a webhook, but I couldn't yet find a way to add this tag automatically. I looked for it in Intercom inbox rules as well as on Zapier. Thanks for helping out!

We are trying to set up a banner on top of our help center page, where it says to be aware of scams for more information click here and send our customers an FAQ regarding scams. We don't understand how to settle up the banner in the URL we need. TYVM

We serve 3 regions and therefore have 3 different 'book in a call' links based on timezones. I want to be able to create one dynamic content block for 'booking in calls' and insert it into all of my emails (rather than having to replicate the same dynamic content block into every email we send). Then anyone creating emails can use this dynamic content block, and also if the links or regions change, I only need to update it in one place.

I activated a survey in intercom and when I set the rules, it was supposed to send to around 300 users based on the rules I set. However, when I checked on the reports, it's showing as "0" sent, am I missing something? The survey has been live for 5 days.
