We are planning to translate our ~700 help articles to another language and I would like to obtain a word count for what we have written so far to estimate the cost. Is there a way to do this? I suspect we have to use the API or some other script to extract and then use another authoring tool that does word counts?

We are trying to hide the messenger on some pages (demo/pricing) where we have a different CTA that pops up on those pages. I set up the messenger settings to not include these pages (see screenshot), using the "Current page URL does not contain" for the four URLs we want to hide the bot on. However, after saving, it still shows up on those pages when we test it in Chrome and Safari. Am I setting this up incorrectly, or should this be working? Thanks in advanceLarisa

I am creating a somewhat lengthy custom bot. Throughout the course of the conversation the user/client would be selecting 5-10 reply buttons and 3-4 customer replies.  Is there a way or an application that summarizes those selections or any client comments at the end of the conversation? Right now I have to scroll manually through all of the selections to understand the core issue.  I could use the Conversation data points, but that doesn't work with the customer replies... just the text reply buttons.

Hi!  I am trying to set up an Intercom product tour inside a chrome-extension. When I add the chrome-extension URL to the product tour builder i.e chrome-extension:/...../page.html the forward button, "open website" is disabled. Does anyone has an idea if it is possible to add a product tour to a chrome-extension?  Best,  Ludwig

We have built out a Custom Bot to react to all new conversations. Most responses are recorded with Reply buttons.  I am hoping to create an automation for when a user does not respond to the reply buttons. Within the Custom Bot settings there is an option that will "Auto-close abandoned Custom Bot conversations" but instead of closing the conversation, I would like to try to engage the user who is interacting with the Custom bot.  It doesn't appear that I can add a Resolution Bot AND Reply buttons in this instance... Is there a way to re-engage with the user? or should we assume that auto-closing the conversation is the best option?

can I ask a user if this is his email or not? And if not then only ask for a email. Basically I want yes no question with prefill email id. Is that possible?

Our team currently has about 10 product areas as conversation attributes, and then a larger pool (50+) of more specific conversation tags. Do any of your teams use conversation attributes and conversation tags in conjunction with each other, and if so, how do you do it?

Using a data attribute that is the subscription period end date, I want to filter users that have renewal dates between 30 and 60 days out. I'd set this up like:sub_period_end is more than -30 days and sub_period_end is less than -60 days I find no users this way. I've tried these two in the reverse order as well to no avail. Any suggestions? ( tbh the more and less than thinking, paired with the negative values, is throwing me for a loop) Going forward, I will be building a dynamic audience for this type of message where sub_period_end is exactly -30 days (that segment seems to work) - this ^ request above is for the purposes of transitioning our messages to automated from manual, and playing catchup with all those that need to go out in the next month, then launching the dynamic rule. Is there a way to get the priority field in conversation objects from webhooks? I could not find a topic for it in the list nor do I get the field as a 'by the way' from any of the other webhooks.

 So far all I can see is `sort & pagination` (search) applies to `contacts` only - but the ability to search articles is what I am looking for - is there a way we can feed in the help centre search results into our apps search results page?  Thank you

Cant's select an element to launch a custom bot. Error message: Could not generate a selector. Please add your selector manually. I'm trying to add a custom bot which needs to be launched by clicking a button. When I try too select the element on the website, it keeps throwing up the error: "Could not generate a selector. Please add your selector manually: (Error: Selector was not found.)". This is despite the element having the attribute:<a class="bottom-price-btn theme-btn-2 btn" data-intercom-target="Get in touch">Get In Touch</a> Any ideas how I get this to work?

We implemented the Intercom Messenger in our web site. We love it and it works very well with my customers in US (also in my laptop when I was in San Francisco).when I go to Vietnam, I and my team can't use it anymore. I've actually already brought this to a conversation with Ryan from support, but I'm posting it since it seems there are almost no clear docs on the topic. While implementing Intercom in a React single-page app, I noticed the calls to Intercom('update') (as suggested by the SPA guide) weren't showing in the conversation or contact page until I hit refresh in the Intercom page. The same is true for submitted events.It's actually a bit misleading to have "now" in bright green when the user might have moved away from the current page after initiating the chat. The only place that makes it clear is a single sentence in Events FAQ & Troubleshooting. This definitely needs:clear communication in any place that suggests using Intercom('update') to add a new pageviewsame for event documentationactually an auto-updating UI, since it may be very helpful, besides resolving the misleading information

We implemented a chatbot and livechat for the chinese part of our website. Unfortunately to login to the backend is a pain for our china based employees. To login they need several minutes. Anyone else has this issue or knows how to avoid this problem?  For example a connector to teams or skype (where our employees can directly chat with the customers)?Any help appreciated.Cheers,Diego

Use Case:We would like to migrate our Product Registration to the Messenger and I am building a Custom Bot which would include a piece of an app which pulls in information from a REST endpoint. However, the app would include two dropdowns which need to be interactive. The first is a product type which would then display a set list in the next dropdown related to this first dropdown.  Does this need to be a live canvas in order to work properly, or do I just need to head another route for this?  There are not good examples anywhere for how to use live canvas or what needs to be present in it, other than implementation.  Thoughts?
