how to create professional tags on intercoms?

I'm trying to create an Outbound email that is sent to a specific group of customers only on the weekends. I want the message to trigger when someone emails us over the weekend. When I click on "When to send this" to add a rule, there's only "Add URL" "Time on page".  I've tag the Group that I want it to go to, but I just realized that it started sending the email without a customer first reaching out.  How do I fix this?

I turned on Identity Verification and therefore need to set a user hash. The documentation states this to set the User Hash:When your iOS app initializes Intercom if the user is identified (i.e., you have a user id or email address), pass in a String of the HMAC returned from your server's authentication call. This should be called before any registration calls. I looked at the Intercom iOS sample app here. I do see that registerUser is called in two places:On app launch inside of: AppDelegate/didFinishLaunchingWithOptions (Objective-C sample) or SceneDelegate/willConnectTo (Swift sample)On user tapping login: handleUserLogin My question is: do I have to call setUserHash in both places as well? The documentation states I need to call setUserHash before any registration calls. I'm not sure if this means that I have to call it in both app launch and user tapping login. Could someone please confirm when to call setUserHash?

I'd like to know, for example, how many members wrote in about green frogs last month.  The next week, if there's a rise in conversations about red turtles, I want to be alerted that this is becoming a trending topic from members reaching out. I don't want to rely on our CS team to notice the trend, because with the sheer volume of conversations we're handling, it shouldn't (and can't) be up to human eyes to spot these trends.  Thank you SO much for any help or suggestions!

Im trying to set a trigger post to all my users. the scenario is this:Every time a user is downloading a video I want the post to be activate but I want it to happen only once per session.We have an attribute "videoEngagement" that counts all users downloads... but I didn't figure it up how to add triggers to that attribute when is occurs and not to give it a specific value

We're using stitch and metabase to get a companywide reporting. So I want want to calculate our medium first response time. But the results doesn't match with the intercom report. How do I have to use the attribute `statistics median time to reply`?

Slack: "Reply in Channel" click gives the error: "intercom: We couldn't find the user who started this conversation in Intercom." when the chat was initiated via intercom. We have 2 support workflows, workflow-1 works fine but workflow-2 doesn't.  WORKFLOW-1 (Works): Our app users send a message via in-app intercom messenger and it gets to our slack channel where the support engineer can click on "Reply in channel" to start a conversation. Hey all, I've been evaluating Intercom for what I feel like is a long while...my use case is different than many people here most likely...I don't have an app; just want to use Intercom for marketing & support for my website consulting clients.  The biggest thing I haven't figured out to do yet (without writing code...) is when a new lead signs up for my services (which I'm slowly moving to pre-paid packages that they pay for monthly), I have a Zapier zap that changes their user profile from a lead to a user in Intercom.  Does anyone know if that's possible to do with Zapier? I believe it is from the docs I've read, but any guidance would be awesome :)  Thank you all! DInos

what I need to know is their way  can categorize customer question based on it can do the needed matrice and easily follow it and know the necessary detail  don't tell me to use a tag because it's hard and wasting time 😁

2 things: I'm working on getting my team into Intercom, but before we can make the switch, we need to ensure that we can get Intercom conversations back into Salesforce. I know we can "create a task" in Intercom which is perfect, but the subject line in Salesforce for all of them is then "Intercom chat with ..." vs. what the actual subject might be.  We've been researching and trying to figure out the best way to get the "bcc to salesforce" function to work how we need it to and are still coming up short. I know you can add people to the conversation in Intercom, but I need to be able to get the "bcc to Salesforce" to somehow work. And also, it is possible that the email the customer is writing in from does NOT match what we have on file in Salesforce, so I'm not sure how to get those possibly connected to the same account. Any thoughts or insights on either of these is so much appreciated!

Hi - I am writing a custom Bot that needs to gather up conversation attributes that have been set via a custom bot, and send them to our system to trigger an alert. It seems that the conversation_parts where these conversation attributes are being set are coming back in a "comment" conversation part without any body, and without any other structured data. Is there some additional API or trick I need to use to retrieve these conversation attributes? I am assuming it is possible, right? Help!

If we use this API https://developers.intercom.com/intercom-api-reference/reference#list-data-attributes can we able to fetch any of the data attributes and pass that attribute value to a variable and then that variable need to be passed on to Watson. If yes could you please provide some guides/steps to achieve this?

I'm using a mix of Loom & TechSmith Capture for Mac OS. I'd love to try some other options and would appreciate any suggestions to help filter through the noise.  Free versions are great but for a wonderful feature set I'd switch to a paid plan. What is your company's support team using?

Our company is situated in Germany and has to comply with german data protection law. We are looking for a way to give the client a) notice about data collection through intercom and b) the possibility to opt in/out to that.  How do you deal with that topic? Which solutions maybe come out of the box from intercom?  Thanks for any thoughts on that!

After we built a Firebase Cloud Function that updates our Intercom records with some relevant metadata and connecting those bits using a shared userId I found that we had several long term users which never registered with Intercom even if that's the first thing we do on app boot. Is there a known issue where this might happen?
