I have a couple of HTML Email Templates, and also tested Intercom’s own just straight out of the box to make sure, but… In the composer these are missing the Divder and Spacer options.  I’m attaching a screenshot of the missing options and the other showing what it looks like if you use one not based on HTML.To get my dividers or spacing, i’m literally having to do it with code blocks and i’m going crazy and that’s not sustainable for my team either who do not know how to code.  Social Links also appears to be missing, but I won’t use intercom’s anyway because of the lack of built in styling options.Please advise. 

Hi! We have a custom app/API-driven flow where customers chat with us over Slack/Teams and where our agents respond to them over Intercom. When our agents have completed a ticket, we’d like to request the customer to rate the conversation over email.Is this possible?

I have a dropdown menu that opens once click on "Actions," but when I use the tooltip and I need to click on the intercom icon, the dropdown menu closes and I'm not allowed to place the icon where I want.  Any solution on this case? 

Is it possible to change the appearance of the custom bot chat? The transparent chat options are on top of my landing page background, making them difficult to read. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sometimes intercom associates conversations with the wrong companies. How can I correct that?  Product Documentation says:Conversations and tickets are associated with companies in different ways: Conversations can be associated with multiple companies. They are associated with companies through the conversation participants. When you search by company, we will find all conversations that have at least one participant from that company. Tickets can only be associated with one company. You can choose which company a ticket is associated with when it’s created and change it later in the Help Desk. We will find all tickets that have been explicitly associated with the company you selected.

Our sales team is responsible for selling a specific product feature.I'm seeking suggestions from other users on using Intercom features throughout a sales process. This should involve engaging with customers from their initial interest, following up through the purchase, assisting with feature adoption, and retaining customers considering disconnecting from that feature.Any suggestions on how we can best utilize the Intercom platform for this process would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve set up an email collector in a Proactive Support message to invite site visitors to sign up for our newsletter.This works, but all it does is send a message to my inbox with each user’s email address.How can I set up automation to populate the email address into my external Ghost blog as a new subscriber, and not have the message appear in my inbox at all?We already use Make (Integromat) which I figure can be used to orchestrate this integration?I’m just not sure how to trigger a Make scenario each time the email colector captures a new address in Intercom

Hi All, I am Emmanuel Katto. I'm trying to use Intercom's user segments to target specific users with personalized messages, but I'm running into some issues with segmenting based on custom attributes. I've created a custom attribute 'plan_type' that tracks the type of plan each user is on (e.g. 'Basic', 'Premium', 'Enterprise'), but when I try to create a segment based on this attribute, it doesn't seem to be recognizing the values correctly. Specifically, when I try to filter by 'plan_type == 'Premium'', it's including users who have never had a premium plan. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Am I doing something wrong?Please let me know.Thanks!Emmanuel

Why isn't there a way to embed an inframe in the help center? This seems like a must-have!

Our help center content often tells customers to contact support directly. However, when customers are writing in, Fin is pulling in that recommendation even though they are already in contact with Support. It is a bit redundant since they are already contacting support. Any recommendations on how to handle this? Can we block Fin from stating that at all? 

HiI was wondering if anyone has stumbled upon the issue with tickets having a requirement for input, like thisbut when they are not filled in, the conversation still gets closed because we use “disable customer reply” and turned off duplicate conversations. Is there any way to define the state of a ticket so you can design a workflow to send a message to the customer: “Hey, you don’t seem to have filled in your details, do you need help with anything? when they input is required but they have not typed in anything?I know the function “collect customer” reply in the workflow can be used for replies, but not for tickets that are not filled in by the customer. Is there any way to track this and nudge the customer based on it?I am grateful for any tips or help!​

Hi!We’ve been having issues with our Salesforce Integration and FIN. We have our integration set up where FIN creates cases in Salesforce for each conversation, but that’s not happening anymore. We have already checked to make sure the mapping is correct and the conversations are with customers, not leads, nothing is working.

Hi,  So, we have a case where virtual servers can mean different things to different customers. A customer can ask how do I back up virtual machines, and Fin suggests an answer on how to do it for Nutanix while the customer is using our solution for VMware. Is there a way we can feed customer data into a Fin workflow so that Fin can guess the intent of the question and provide a more accurate answer?

We need to automatically generate reports with comments for agents or admins, but the Intercom Excel report files do not contain the roles.Could you send us Excel files with the role information for each user?

How can I sort companies alphabetically by name? I want to identify duplicate companies, but I can’t sort them by name.  

Hello,I'm trying to setup inbox app to add canvas content with inbound email details for replies from 3rd party service (we need from name / reply to address as it's always forwarded from the same email and appear as conversation under same contact)  It's visible via "raw email" in web UI(in this case forwarded@email.com is always the same and we need to get Alex and alex@email.com) But looks like API has no access to those fields (it only shows subject/body and author email, which is always the same)  Is there a way to access those fields via API?Thanks

Hi there, We're in the process of setting up company data on Salesforce to sync with Intercom so we can target specific customers using fields such as 'subscription expiry date'. I'm then unsure how we would target just the main contact of that company to send the comms to? We can have many users of our platform within 1 company. There is a field in Salesforce which has the main contact details on within the company record. Can I link via there?

Hi! Is there anyone else that finds the ‘User Notes’ or ‘Lead Notes’ too plain? We would love to leverage this feature, but it lacks any formatting options, hypertext links, etc. We don't use any CRM outside of Intercom and consider this feature very limited.Would you find it useful if the feature was more advanced? 

In this example (Excel report), the comment 'Simplicity' comes from a user Fábio with ID '4740'. However, in Intercom, we have a different username and domain with the same ID. Yesterday, during the review of the May comments, we noticed 4 cases with this issue. Can you fix the problem or provide me with a correct Excel report?

Hello, since we are using our own notifications implementation using AWS amplify, we currently rely on the webhook to send Intercom notifications for our users. To send a push notification when creating a new chat message trough Proactive support we listen for the 'content_stat.chat' topic and stat_type: 'receipt'. However, for some users this event is only sent when they open the app, for other users (so far I could only make it work for one at a time) this event is sent even when they have the app on the background (which is the behavior I want). What is the behavior of this event, and how can I make it work for multiple users at the same time? I don’t want them to have the app open for this notification to arrive.If listening for this event is not a reliable way of sending push notifications when chat messages are sent, is there any alternative way of making Intercom Notifications work alongside amplify notifications?
