Hi, everyone!I am facing some weird issues after updating to latest intercom version, but it also happened after last update.Last year, in november, I upgraded to 'io.intercom.android:intercom-sdk:12.5.0' and after that, we got some massive crashing in production which is still present since I was trying to fix navigation until today when something else happened and I got suspicion it is related to intercom upgrade. Hi all,I’m using an event tracking to trigger a survey from code:window.Intercom('trackEvent', 'open-survey')I have set up the survey to trigger on this event, and it works fine.What I want to do is to keep sending the survey till they actually complete it.I have to collect responses and I’d like to force them to actually respond (not only dismissing the survey but completing it). How could I achieve that? Is there anything I’m misunderstanding here?Thanks in advance

We’ve seen this now occasionally where Intercom gets into a reconnection state and keeps allocating more and more memory. On production iOS this results in a termination of the OS but in our simulator it will accumulate until it cannot get no more (we’ve seen this go up in the several hundreds of gigabytes). Since the source is closed I cannot determine where this goes wrong but the memory inspection seems to point to these two functions:  As long as we keep the debugger on we will continuously see this being triggered, literally thousands of times within a minute. Is there anything that can be done here?

Hi There,I am trying to connect our Sales Team with our Customer Support Team, the idea is to triage customers that are slipping away in their first 7 and 14 days -  Purpose - Sales team working with leads in Hubspot who are not reponding to attempts to contactAim - Customer Support in Intercom is able to set up an automation for the customer in the meessenger which will ask them to reach out to us ad book a meeting using Hubspot Calendar or Calednly and then we can continue the onboardingResult - that the link between Hubspot and Intercom is able to trigger this automation on a user by user basis Has anyone got a solution to this problem, I think that we need some link from Hubspot that pushes the automation to the audience we want - but I haven’t seen anything like this available?

Hi, is there a way to preview live without having to duplicate the product tours so many times or creating multiple profiles? For example a way I can find myself as a user and just delete the user info each time so that I can continue testing?

I’ve tried using the series but nothing happens when I set it live (only for myself to preview). I tagged the tooltips and product tour then added them to the series. I’ve also tried setting the tooltips and product tour live then setting the series live but I can’t tell if that worked just because I set them live individually.  

My team sent a lot of outbound messages to customers via the inbox that we want a customer to reply to.Currently, as part of the macros we use, we set the conversation to closed when sending the message even though we want a response.I am trying to understand what the impact of closing this conversation versus leaving it open/snoozed? Does it display differently to the customer at all?

I wanted to add Intercom on a Atlassian Forge Macro, and was wondering if anyone had any experience of this, tips on the best way to implement it, or any known gotchas, or documentation specific to this use-case. Thanks

Hi, We’re using v1.4 of the API to query and update users in our (Google) cloud services. Context:I’m using the Intercom <=> Jira cloud integration to link my Intercom Conversations and Tickets to related Jiras.A limitation with this integration is that it doesn’t write the Jira ID to the Intercom data objects, it writes to a Jira field ‘linked_intercom_conversations.’ This means I can’t search or do any reporting in Intercom for Conversations/Tickets related to Jiras.To solve this, I wrote a tool to pull the Intercom IDs from the Jira fields, and update a data attribute in Intercom with the Jira ID that was linked.Here’s the problem:When the ‘linked_intercom_conversations’ is written to the Jira it always writes the url ID to the  field. This means that all of the linked objects look like conversations. Because Intercom doesn’t share data attributes across conversations and ticket types, it takes a different API call to update a ticket vs a conversation. But I can’t tell from the ID on the Jira which type is is.I tried doing a call to api.intercom.io/conversations/CA

I am new to Intercom but have used other platforms before. We just migrated close to 400 articles, and am wondering why is article editing so basic.Here is what I am looking to do, maybe I just have not found it yet: Duplicate an article: Looks like th only option is to highlight everything on the page and copy/paste. Hi,I want to set up automation where I'll be sending emails to my clients thanking them for purchasing a subscription. I sell the subscription using Stripe. I've connected Stripe with Intercom. I want the trigger for sending the email to be the purchase of the subscription by a new client. I'm setting this up using the 'series' option in Intercom, but I'm having trouble choosing the trigger. On the list, I have the option 'Created subscription', but I'm not sure if this pertains to Stripe as there's no information indicating it's a Stripe trigger. Additionally, I have 'Stripe subscription period start at', but choosing this I'm not sure if the email will be sent immediately after the subscription purchase.I'd also like different emails to be sent depending on the type of purchased subscription. With the 'Created subscription' option, I have the ability to define the subscription name, in my case, for example, 'Starter - social media' (I sent an example in the screenshot). But I'm uncer

Has anyone found a simple solution to create an embeddable form for Intercom rather than build one ourselves?We like using all the functionality of intercom but prefer not to use the messenger as a form and just have a standard one instead. Or link out to one. Thanks!

Your docs state AND operators can have upto 15 filters.

Hi,I am using webhooks and trying to identify an event of ‘conversation.admin.opened’ when a lead replies on a closed ticket but it doesn’t seem to trigger it. the odd thing is that it works on one workspace but not on the other.

Fin’s ability to understand content is great for support but we are wondering if we can use it for acquisition on the public website also.  It seems like it could short cut creating and managing lots of individual custom questions etc. which could be valuable for small teams.  The idea would be to train it on various website pages and also PDF type content. Not sure how we could have it pursue a goal of booking demo/signing up rather than “resolving” a question.

Hey everyone,What I’d like to do is create a new contact field called “App URL”. Then I’d like to autofill this information based on data from another field. For example, if email contains company.com.au then I want the App URL to be “app.company.com.au”.Alternatively, is there a way to simply get the current page URL to use in an outbound message Action?

I am trying to find a “standard” out-of-the-box data model provided by Intercom for: Users/Contacts Accounts/Companies I have inherited an Intercom instance with a ton of custom fields.  I need to know what the “standard” fields are in the data model so I can clean up the custom ones! Thanks

According to the API documentation, something like this should workPOST{    "message_type": "comment",    "type": "user",    "body":"<h1>hello world</h1>",    "intercom_user_id":""}but instead I get a "user is an invalid value for type" error - even though the API explicitly says that it is. I do note that the page linked only has an admin note reply as an option in the dropdown. Does that mean that it is not possible to post a reply on behalf of a user?  Would appreciate any help here.
