I  am trying to update Intercom from 15.0.3 to 15.2.3 but I have a weird layout when I open the chat window. As you can see, the text field fit the entire screen width. I tried the last version of the SDK but same problem.   

Line 86 of your react native iOS bridge for the Intercom SDK causes a rejection after the resolve has already run, if the app is unable to communicate with Intercom. I think you will either need to add a success handler into the native Intercom SDK, or remove this reject call althogether, as this is almost certainly going to be causing issues for any user of the react-native bridge if the network call fails. https://github.com/intercom/intercom-react-native/blob/main/ios/IntercomModule.m#L86

I want to integrate Intercom ticket types to the Jira request types but I can’t find the option like this. The only option to match the issues is to connect intercom’s ticket type with the Jira Issue type. However, in my Jira space I have several request types under the Incident issue and if there is no option to match them with the Intercom tickets then this integration appears to be useless :(  For more reference I’m attaching the screenshots.   

I have a request to send an Email using the /messages API endpoint. I just follow the Parameters on the Documentation but still didnt get any Email from my testing lead or personal email.Its on the UI of Leads profile that I created a message but on my testing email address didnt receives any Email that I created on the API.I already added the value of message type of email but in return of the response the res was message_type inapp  

While testing a product tour in a test environment, I found the most frequently I could send a tour to any user was once a day. Can it be made possible to create a test user, or an audience called ‘Test’ that can be sent a product tour more frequently than once a day?  It makes it very hard to test otherwise, and I have had to create many user accounts to test more than once a day. Or is there a way to do this with the current configuration?

I’m attempting to create a custom action that sends a POST request to Shortcut API.  The request succeeds when I test it in Postman or other testing tools; however, when I try to test the request in Intercom’s Custom Action building tool, Intercom arbitrarily inserts escape characters into the JSON in the Request Body, which causes the Shortcut API to return a code 400 Bad Request. Here’s a comparison of the Intercom and Postman consoles (Intercom on the left, Postman on the right).  Notice that Intercom has added escape characters to the body.  I’ve already confirmed that the error is caused by Intercom inserting those escape characters. Is there any way to force Intercom to send the request as-is?  It makes no sense that it would alter a Request Body...those should ALWAYS be sent as-is. Here’s a zoom recording showing the issue, if that helps:  https://us02web.zoom.us/rec/share/C1W_oCh039rZ4cvJOi639opBCb2-kocdh16CjsHyILJrqE-gUKno1holp0EI_4rk.7_lD0QAgj0pYeCkQ?startTime=1697468415000

Does anyone know if there is a way to have an automated reply to customer emails that includes the ticket/case/conversation ID?  So, customer emails and gets an automated email back with a templated response, and the email also includes the ticket ID or case ID or conversation ID? Not fussed which ID, as long as it gives them some sort of number to reference. Thanks in advance!

Hi there,I love the new checklist feature, and am wanting to use them to onboard new users instead of tours, as they obviously work across pages, show progress etc, and are generally more informative and less intrusive. The biggest issue I’m having right now though is that I can’t find any way to determine whether a checklist has actually been completed.Basically, my scenario is this: Create an ‘onboarding’ checklist, have an intercom banner, intercom tooltip or in-app button that initiates the checklist on the home page that is only shown when the ‘onboarding’ check list is incomplete. Yet it appears this isn’t possible as there is no way to determine whether the checklist is complete or not.As an aside, it also appears that it isn’t possible to launch a checklist from a banner. Do they not support smart links?Thanks! 

Hello, we plan to use Intercom survey for our React Native app. We've tried to use the event based survey but we notice that the event based survey cannot be triggered automatically inside the app every time our events sent, instead, it always triggers our surveys when we relaunch the app. We would like to know if Intercom supports this behavior in React Native and how can we achieve it ?We are using:React Native version 0.65.1@intercom/intercom-react-native version 3.0.5Thanks

I would like to have the ability to have a few simple question mark icons available on my site, when clicked, they would load specific articles from our help center within the messenger window. The goal is to deep link specific articles in the messenger. I've seen other chat bots provide this functionality but haven't found a way to do this with Intercom (happy to use the JavaScript API if needed). Thanks!

I queried Fin to answer a question from one of our blog posts. While Fin did pull from our blog posts, he pulled an inactive link that resulted in a 404 error. I found the correct link but I don’t know how to correct in Fin. Can someone advise, please?For example: Say Fin pulled www.company.com/blog123However, that resulted in the 404 error. Fin should have pulled www.company.com/blogabcHow do I update the link in Fin? Thank you in advance!

Hello team,I'm creating an application that uses the integrated Intercom messenger app triggered by Userflow resource center. so, from an option in the Userflow resource center, I want to open the Intercom messenger.This works smoothly, however, I'm implementing a custom launcher, and even following the documentation's recommendations and keeping the attribute hide_default_launcher: true, every time Userflow opens the Intercom messenger, it automatically shows the launcher, as if Userflow overwrites this property, even adding an Intercom('onShow') event and forcing the update of the hide_default_launcher attribute to true, the launcher continues to be displayed.Where could the error be? Is this really possible ?

Hi everyone, I’ve set up intercom through GTM and it’s working as the messenger is showing on page.  I’m now trying to set up a proactive message to be sent when anyone makes a click where the click text is “Let us know”. The issue I have is that GTM is picking up the clicks correctly but intercom is not receiving the event. I’ve tried setting up the event two ways and neither work.  Method 1 - using the intercom built GTM function for trackEvent.Method 2 - using the custom HTML GTM function with the JS as per the guides.  In both cases intercom is not detecting the event. I know the event is being triggered by GTM as I’m receiving it in MixPanel.  Any ideas why this wouldn’t be working? 

Did anyone encounter an issue starting a new conversation via email because it shows an error?I received an error when I tried to send an email to a new user, even though I have already verified my domain address and obtained the send email permission. It's quite strange. Can anyone help?  

It looks like Intercom.logEvent(withName: ) is not thread safe, Yet the in line documentation is not warns the user and the provided url is broken: “Log an event with a given name. Many times, when we communicate with our customers, we need to use their message data for segmentation. This applies to any of the Intercom channels.We would like to utilize message data to, for example, exclude or include contacts who received message x. Another example would be to exclude or include contacts who did not open message x. We understand that this can be partially achieved with series, but not with individual messages.Currently, we address this issue by applying tags to users. For instance, we tag everyone who opened message x and then exclude or include them from the next message.Is there anyone solving this in a different way?

Is there a reason why you can't use the camera's phone to take a photo during a conversation? As far as I can tell all you're able to do is to use photos from the camera roll. This seems a strange choice. It seems far more likely that a user would want to illustrate their issue during a conversation, rather than have to exit the app, open the camera, take a photo, then return to the app, open the conversation again and then find the photo in their Camera Roll.

I’ve checked the previous asked questions, but can’t find a proper way to do it.While creating a Product tour for multiple pages, how can I add steps that should showing up on after navigating away from the first page(ex: abc.com/home), the URL of the second page is generated dynamically, like this: abc.com/project/1234, 1234 is the project id.Scenario: In my tour I ask user to create a new project and this takes the user to new page. Now on the new page, we have the projectId as the url parameter. So when I create a tour and user clicks on the New Project button, I want to show the following steps when the user navigate to abc.com/project/1234Is there a way that I can input the dynamic URL for the second or even the third page in a tour?

Hey everyone,Just started implementing Intercom for our company and I’m getting stuck at the “basic steps” as it seems, maybe someone experienced the same behavior. We have two general inboxes through which our customers can contact us and I’m trying to set it so that all emails that arrive at those 2 inboxes will be visible in the Intercom for the support team. We are using Office 365, so the email provider is MS (Outlook) and the person responsible for managing our email went ahead and added the forwarding address that is provided by Intercom to Outlook settings. When I click “Verify email forwarding” I receive an email to our general address “support@companydomain.com” and right after that I receive an email from MS Outlook saying “Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups”. Also, I see an error message saying “Email forwarding is not set up. Check your forwarding settings.” under my forwarding settings. I tried the same steps for another email: info@companydomain.com and I

We’ve tried using the Beta Phone calls but it didn’t solve our need. Here is our specific use-case:We get a support ticket from a customer. The support ticket involves calling a third-party person We want to be able to link a phone call to a third-party person to the conversation We are happy to even create a back-office ticket, and in the back-office ticket if we had the ability to make an outbound call to a phone number that does not belong to the customer that opened a conversation. Have the recorded phone call live in the back-office ticket We are currently doing this in Zendesk where we manage our outbound phone calls and then try to manually link the call to a conversation. But this is time consuming and adds many steps. We didn’t see this in any of the integrated phone apps as well. Please let us know if we missed something or if this is something someone has been able to achieve. 

We found an issue with the React Native SDK where messages sent through the API are crashing Intercom Messenger when opening the conversation.
