Hello guys, hope you're well. I'm currently using intercom in our WordPress site and we are using the official plugin version 2.6.5. I'm just wondering does it automatically capture users' email and name when I'm logged in or there is a special script I need to add to my site.

Hello, we have Intercom on our WordPress site (installed via the plugin). We're getting a suggestion from Google Page Speed to lazy load the Intercom widget with a facade.Does anyone have experience with this?

Using intercom’s messenger-js-sdkI am currently passing custom attributes during Intercom instantiation like so```  Intercom({    app_id: appId,    user_id: userId,    name: userName,    email: email,    created_at: createdAt,    tenant_id: tenantId,    tenant_name: tenantName,    tenant_role: tenantRole,    app_environment: appEnvironment,  });```  The custom attributes are already set within Intercom itself as shown in the above attached image. However, when testing it out the custom attribute is not being populated.I’ve checked the user data payload sent during the ping http request, all data is supplied appropriately.Any ideas what could be the problem ?

Is there a way to include a lead’s company name and email address in messages sent to Slack via the Slack integration and Intercom workflows? The old (deprecated) Intercom Convert Slack integration did that, and we are now replacing that with the current Slack app/integration, but we need to retain that functionality. Thanks!

I have a Custom actions API in which I have used the messageBody variable in my post request, however, when the flow is triggered on user’s message it always picks the very first msg that user sent in intercom chat widget and passes that to the post request and ignores all subsequent messages. In every subsequent request to my API the first message is being passed in the request body

Hi ! We've been extensively using the intercom / linear integration as well as some custom API calls to create tickets in linear from intercom and link them. Yesterday, the scenario we created that worked well until then stopped working. It seems it's no longer possible to link intercom tracker tickets to linear tickets (it's only possible to link conversations). This breaks all of the processes we put in place and is a huge pain in the ass. Could you please rollback those changes ? Thanks in advance !

Is there any way to create a public app which can be used in workflow but appears in the "Add integration section" dropdown instead of the  “send an app dropdown”. I want to build an app which can be used as integration, and the app can return some data which can be used as input in other nodes in the workflow. Is there any way to achieve that? I don’t want to use custom actions for this.

Stripe sync stopped working around 9am Thursday morning for us. Before that any user who had a stripe account would sync user attributes in Intercom, including stripe_id, stripe_plan_price, and stripe_subscription_status. But now that has suddenly stopped, which breaks a lot of our rules and segments. I tried turning sync on and off but that did not solve the issue. 

Hello, I have created a private app. It’s a simple integration app and not any canvas or messenger app. I want to use this app in my workflows but when I select the “send an app” menu button from dropdown , my private app doesn’t appear there.

Hi. Creating a new topic as the existing ones about this are quite old.I’m new to Intercom (used HubSpot before). My customer support team used to receive all messages on MS Teams. I see that Intercom doesn’t have an out-of-the box integration with Teams. Is there any 3rd party solution for this or has anyone achieved this in a relatively simple way?Thanks!

we have an integration with our current phone system and that creates a new conversation that is assigned to the teammate that answers the call.however, the agents should always remember to assign a team as well.they do not, so i want to automate that based on a workflow.but when i create a reusable workflow with a rule stating that "if team member is X ->the assign team X2"that unassigns the team member from the conversation.how can i automatically assign a team to a conversation that has an agent assigned to it without removing said teammate?

Work in MadCap Flare to produce all our help documentation.   Want to import all the articles from Flare to Intercom.I see several standard tools on the Flare side for other standard support systems on the market, but Intercom is not listed.  LINK What recommendations do you have on the process?    Would love this to be automated so everything stays organized, tagged and synced.

We are trying to update user_id for a bunch of intercom users but UpdateUser method is giving "400 - User already exists" error when trying to update user_id. We are calling this api for multiple users and for most it is giving 400 response. According to the API documentation, we should be able to update user_id when id is passed.Params passed{    id: <Intercom user id>,   user_id: <user Id to set>}We are using node intercom-client 2.11.2 with app token for API version 1.0

Everything is in the title :-) When inserting a Typeform app in a Post, we are asked to configure it. But what means those 2 buttons “one time use” and ‘save for later use”?? I’ve been looking at the knowledge base and the community messages, and I found nothing on it. Could someone help me understand? Thanks! 

I have the Slack integration working, so all messages sent via the live chat widget on our webiste are going to a Slack channel. How can I set it up so replies in a Slack thread go back to the Intercom conversation, and to the live chat widget? I have tried builing a “Teammate sends any message” workflow, and also a “Teammate adds a note” workflow, but neither one worked. Any suggestions?

Is it possible to add a copy action to a text area in an inbox app using canvas kit?

Hi there,I’ve created a webhook handling conversation.user.created and conversation.user.replied events. I’m using automation where the first step in the communication is the list of buttons, but also customer can send the message (instead of clicking one of buttons). Basically, I need to recognise in the webhook request, that the button was clicked OR the text was written by the customer. After a close inspection of the request data, both cases are identical. Interesting fact is that, as I’m using “Unstable” version of API, when the buttons are used deeper in the workflow, webhook request contains value in conversation_parts?.conversation_parts[0].metadata?.quick_reply_option_uuid when button is used, so I’m able to detect the click action. But for the first appearance of buttons in the workflow (on the first step) - metadata is not even present. Thanks and regards,Milan

Hi, Currently building an integration that allows courses to be embedded into Intercom. All this is working fine however when selecting a course, given there can be many, I thought it would be best to kick the user out to a sheet with a custom UI.Does a `sheet` action actually work within a canvas from a Configure flow response though? I can see the components rendering out properly but when I interact with them they don’t seem to trigger anything, not even any network activity.

I would like to embed a code to a help article from Tango. Is there a way to get this code embedded? 

We are observing that within one bot flow, when we set an attribute value on a reference attribute there is way to reset it. If we continue on the same flow, and bring the customer back to first option, it keeps on appending the values selected by the customers. Anyone have any luck resetting the attributes within same conversation ?

Hi team, recently I found that background-blend-mode is not working when creating email template.it seems acceptable styling when itself creating, but, after saving the template, background-blend-mode section is automatically removed. I tried !important but it also not working. Anyone please clearly answer how I can use background-blend-mode?
