I know I can do this in individual messages by having them only sent out during office hours, but I need to do this in my series flow. Basically I need to check for a specific value which we're pushing via API, but is only updated on weekdays, before continuing.

Every now and then I would like to bring up a customer and send one specific person a specific templated email announcement. I can of course start a conversation with the customer via email from within intercom, and perhaps use macros, but then it will be quite a basic bland email.  So basically: is there any way of easily sending one of our beautiful custom email templates as a one-off to a specific person? (so not using rules, series, etc) Thanks

Any good reason not to utilize Intercom for sending marketing emails to our whole email list, whether they have ever interacted with our site/app or not? I feel like Intercom's expected use case is engagement with only the people who have interacted with your site or app in some way, and not for people whom we know about from our Sales team and outbound efforts.At our small-ish size I'd like to use one tool for all emails, instead of Intercom for users and something else like Sendgrid for the other leads.To accomplish this I would setup an integration where all our new Salesforce contacts were sent to Intercom as Leads, using something like Zapier.Would you recommend this or not, and why? Hi Everyone, I am having this weird problem of persistent customer messages that keep showing up if users navigate to a new page or reload the same page. I set up banners with a dismiss button enabled. You can dismiss them, but then when you reload or go to another page, it all loads again... You can reproduce the bug here: https://heylama.appAfter 10 secs you'll see a banner at the top. Click it away and navigate to another page (courses) or just reload. It will show up again. How can I fix this issue?

Hi - I see the ability to create Reaction Messages in help files but the only reply options we have is Text or Email Collector. Is there a tickbox somewhere I'm missing? Can't see any message reaction templates either... Thanks!

If we can get information on people's operating system (stored in the OS attribute) to see if they are on mobile can we automate (using series?) and trigger a push notification or another kind of notice direct to their device? Hi Everyone! we are bootstrapping a web service for process improvement. It's called Process Stories dot com and we are trying to figure out how to inform our mobile users that there's a better experience on desktop, so to open up our web app on their laptops. Perhaps we could automate a workflow to allow them to enter their email and get sent a link for them to open on desktop at a later time? Hi there, I'm trying to see if it's possible for me to create an event called "Scheduled Meeting" when a user schedules a call through Calendly. Is it possible for me to automate the creation of this event with the API? If not, is there a way we can create the event, and then manually update a user profile to say the event occurred? Ideally I can create an event called "Scheduled 1st Meeting with Calendly" that I can use as a Goal such that someone can exit one series and enter another. Thanks for your help, everyone!

Hi everyone! Is it possible to show the Chat Welcome Message only for three seconds on mobile devices and then delete (hide/close/whatever) it from the screen? We have a problem that it closes main buttons on our website as it's only landing web page which doesn't have much info on it but there are main buttons which are hidden by the Chat Welcome Message, so users cannot click on these buttons unless they close this message. I know that it's possible to close this message but the conversion for these buttons decreases dramatically which seems to be frustrating. Is there any backend solution to this issue? Or is it possible to fix it inside intercom?

We are trying to send an email to any new users that sign up for our product. However, when we use the filter for "Signed Up Less Than 1 Day Ago", we get a list of users who had signed up a long time ago. Can someone explain how this particular attribute works?

Is it possible to broadcast a message to all online users instead of messages one by one?

If you have more than 7 (like 12 or even 15) posts you want your customers to receive, then how do you do it and not get blocked by the "max 7 branches" rule? I know I can branch out at a step befrore but that still would not ensure a customer would receive the messages in the branches that "the other" prior step leads to. Like Welcome A leads to Posts 1-5 and Welcome be leads to Posts 6-10. However whenever a customer/lead matches any of the rules related to any of the posts I'd want them to receive that Post.Hope I'm making sense 😎

We have a small business, Can we get push notifications when customers visit our websites?

We have various chat messages set to trigger during specific time frames. We have noticed that some users do not close messages, and so they just pile up. Ideally, there would be a chat rule that does something like "send if >1 chat messages are open." Does anyone know of a trick to prevent bombarding users with chat messages?

Looking for some pro tips, any suggestions are welcome :)Background: We need to collect emergency (non-marketing) email and phone contact information for the store admin. Typically they share their helpdesk which isn't great if we need to make a quick connection. The desired outcome: Have this contact information stored in Intercom & Klaviyo in case we need it.Potential solution: Insert Klaviyo form using the Outbound>Chat editor "insert code". Show Chat to merchants & have them add the info. Then connect the data from submissions back to intercom from Klaviyo as new custom data attributes.

In Series we have not really used Exit rules (not yet anyway). They are mentioned in Intercom's guides but not really in a sense that they seem crucial.  Our customer base spands the globe pretty much so we need to send the same message in a lot of languages, which means when we set up Series we create a lot of almost identical rules and steps for our customers to match. Is everybody else using Exit rules in their Series and do you find it crucial to use them as a way to ensure e.g. users leave Series at a given point?I'm trying to get to know how to do thing as absolutely best as possible and to avoid mistakes (which we just had a bad one of! 😣 )

I have a bug with the entry rules series. All the entry rules are correct but only 41% of the users who match with the rules entered the series and received the messages. Anyone know what might be happening?

I want to have it set up to show our team the full 10 step workflow but it won't allow me to save unless I set it live?  Does anyone have any tips?

Context: we already use Intercom Chat in-app and that works just fine. I'm trying to create a Product Tour. To launch the builder, I enter the URL. We're a Shopify Sales Channel, so putting the URL in launches the Shopify login screen. I log in, navigate down to Sales Channels, and then click our app — all while staying in the iframe that Intercom pops up. Here's where things break down. When I click to launch our app, it always opens in a new tab. That new tab comes through on my full browser and not the iframe from Intercom. I can't replace the URL in the iframe to be my app. Shopify doesn't let me right-click and choose to open our app in the current tab. I've checked that the app_id lines up between Intercom and our Product — it does. So, I'm stuck. How can I "force" the Product Tour builder to load when I can't get access it via the iframe? I appreciate any and all guidance here — thank you.

Is it possible to export Series data to get a better understanding of what users are doing (or not doing)? I understand that Heap integrates with Intercom, so does the Series data export to Heap?
