Hi everyone. I have a following use caseI want to tag some users based on the workflow in Intercom. After the specific tag appears on the customer in Intercom, I want this customer to automatically appear in the Segment in Customer.io I tried to meddle with the  zapier, but it does not offer the specific action “add to segment in customer.io”. Can someone help with this? 

Hey there, We have been using Intercom in two of our domains, the root domain, and also a subdomain website. We set up two proactive messages something like this,First proactive messageset Where to send as if current page URL is https://mydomain.com along with Visitor audienceSecond proactive messageset Where to send as if current page URL is https://sub.mydomain.com along with User audienceBut if a user visits our website with the following sequence,visit root domain https://mydomain.com, and a new conversation gets auto triggered (unread) visit sub domain https://sub.mydomain.com and logged in as user, because there is one conversation is opened in step 1, and the data is shared, Intercom shows user that conversation again.I tried a lot of different settings such as using condition as NOT CONTAIN subdomain, it still doesn’t work. When I am scheduling an email from a one of my sales reps I get this message: Check [email address] and verify your address, then try sending your message again.  When my rep attempts to send an email, he also gets the same email.  He does not get any emails for “verifying”.  What does this mean?

I navigated to what is numerically the fifth image and replaced it, but I am still getting the same error message. Never seen this before and not sure how to proceed with updating my article!I am not even sure what the “integer” problem is/what that means.

Hey there!  I am onboarding my team of admin and clinical members to Intercom. They’ve been using Gmail and Google Voice to interact with patients, but we will making the full switch to Intercom soon.  What are ways to help introduce them to using Intercom? I know this will take lots of practice to get used to, as it’s more of a muscle memory concept. But has anyone in here seen great success using certain internal communications with your teams when going through the onboarding steps? I know they are very nervous, and I’d like to make them feel as comfortable and empowered to use this as quickly as possible.  Any advice appreciated!  Thank you! 

I am using the API. When I retrieve a conversation and inspect each of its conversation_parts, I see each of them has an author. However, there seems to be no information regarding who this message is addressed to. Is it possible to get that information? Or at least to know wheter it is internal or external communication.

We have tried all the top line customer support solution and always had our eye on Intercom, 2024 we are in. May we all have success in the New Year. So far only 1st day using Intercom but enjoying our onboarding and the startup flow is quite nice. Almost NYE! Dave

API 2.3 via PHP+cURL:  I can SET or CHANGE the external_id but any attempt to set the external_id to empty posting {'external_id':''} to https://api.intercom.io/contacts/... is returned with a 200 OK but the external_id retains the former value. I have tried with '' and null to no avail.

Hello!I’m trying to create, using Intercom API, a ticket with one or more attachments.I’ve created a Ticket Type that contains one Ticket Type Attribute (named Files) of data_type ‘files’.Then, following the API documentation for the POST request to create a ticket, I’ve created this payload:That, as long as the Files are an empty array ([]) works out.If I try to add the files data, I always receive this kind of error: Couple of details:I’ve read the other similar question here with no luck I have tried all the combinations for Files, like, a list of objects with one entry, an object containing a files property that is a list of objects and so on and so forth. Hey there, I am currently building an intercom integration to sync tickets. I have a custom ticket attribute called “priority” of type list which has the options “urgent”, “high”, “normal”,  and “low”.I try to update the ticket attribute like this via the Dev Docs and the try out button. I added emails to a series and I want to use Intercom email more for automated sign ups. Is there a way to sync emails sent from Intercom as tasks in Salesforce (like chats?) we really need this to utilize the series and email function more or else we have to keep sending them through our MAP. 

Hello all, we’ve had a fairly major technical issue for a while now and are unable find a POC to solve this with - hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction! Our flows are already established and set up. Problem is - when someone writes in our chat, a specific message gets sent as a reply pretty much 80% of the time (not all) and the message is not is not a part of any flow. Who can I contact to get help with this?

I am searching for a tool to handle feature requests and bug reports, and optionally, a public roadmap. 🛣️ Jodel is a social network with millions of users worldwide, so lots of incoming feedback. It would make sense for us to either manage it through Intercom directly or with another service that we can integrate with Intercom. We need a tool that also lets us manage the same feature request in several languages. Any recommendations?

Im running a retro on the emails sent to our top users during the year 2023. Im loking for a way to view all the emails specific users received in a year. I found the rceent content section in each user’s profile, but I cannot expand it to see the entire year, it shows up to May 2023. Is there a way to easily find this?
