We’re trying to add Intercom functionality on a website that holds all the functionality inside an iframe. We’ve installed the Intercom Messenger on the same iframe level, but when trying to add a Product Tour or a Tooltip we get the following error: “Sorry, we can't load the tools to build Product Tours on your website. Please make sure the Intercom Messenger is installed on the URL you have chosen to build your tour.” As the URL we’re using a src attribute for the iframe.Please advice if this approach is supported and what URL should we pass in this case when designing a Product Tour/Tooltip functionality.

Is there any way of setting the messenger to floating so that if somebody is reading the instructions they can move it out of the way of entering data? 

I’m currently trying to connect my react app with the chatbot, but as far as I saw in the documentation they mentioned something about an APP ID but I can’t find it.

I am trying to implement the localization of the Intercom messenger by domain, based on this article: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/2631808-install-intercom-with-google-tag-manager. I have multiple domains with the same GTM.I created three tags for each domain, and as a custom attribute, I added "language_override" with the correct language. However, it works inconsistently. When we test this feature, sometimes the language is set correctly, and sometimes it is not. We have tried it in many browsers, devices, and on the BrowserStack platform, deleted cookies, but we could not achieve consistent resultsWhen I check in the console, the "window.intercomSettings" "language_override" attribute is set correctly: {app_id: "xxxwdq", language_override: "en"}.Here is screen of my tag co

We’re seeing a problem where the Intercom messenger defaults to a white background while enabled on a dark background of our website.We’ve implemented Intercom using RudderStack. We’re not sure how to force the background of the messenger window to show as transparent instead of white when on a dark background. Does anyone have any ideas?  

I want the chat to open when someone clicks on a button and image of the website. I know this is possible with a custom launcher but how can I add it to a Wordpress website?

Hi Everyone,We use Google Tag Manager to implement intercom, via Intercoms own tag template. I’m kinda confused how I should push an array of multiple companies to intercom via tag manager and our dataLayer.Could somebody elaborate on how to get this working? The issue i’m facing is that we don’t know howmany companies a user has on beforehand and the template only allows to send 1 variable to intercom. Or perhaps I’m wrong and there’s another way?Kind regards

Hey, My self Meet Parmar work as Software developer.I need to apply custom css in intercom chatbot. I inspect chatbot and found class=”intercom-ruskli ” in that particular class need to apply css. also how to append custom css in chatbot.  

I would love the ability to record a voice memo or audio file and send it as a message in the Chat. My use case is send tailored, specific, longer form messages and replies to our users, and recording an audio message is not only faster but delivers a more tailored and personal experience to our users.

Basically when the messenger is closed and the user receives a message via the borderless frame I want to trigger a function.  Thanks

I've noticed that you cannot enable Home space in Messenger anymore for mobile platforms. It is only available for Web. Am I doing something wrong or has that feature been removed?

The new checklist feature seems pretty cool; and we look forward to using it with our customers. But we would like to make it interactive; we would like customers to be able to respond to a question or add comments. Is this possible..? How would we do this..?

When will smart suggestions (articles) be made available for NON-English articles? We operate mainly in Spanish.

We are looking to implement the messenger in a React Native app. Our preference would to be to show the chat as a screen in the app (with bottom bar navigation) rather than an overlay. Seems like this is not possible from the documentation. Wondering if anyone has found a way to achieve this?

For instance, our platform has the "chat" section, the "admin" section, the "main" section, etc. On each one of them, I want to show the relatives articles on the Articles Search app in Messenger. It doesn't make sense to show the "chat" articles in the "admin" section. It could work like the banners, posts, product tours rules.Thank you

Can you tell me a bit more about using spaces in the new Messenger?

We'd like to show a list of all our consultants and an operator, so users can see each consultant (with their details next to them) and then choose who they want to talk to. I've seen other companies do this using Intercom. How do we do this? Is there an app we can use?

The launcher covers necessary functionality on Mobile.How can I disable it from showing only on Mobile? Using properties and segmentation will not work for us as our users using both mobile and desktop. I want them to see the launcher on the desktop but remove it from mobile.Thank you!

Hi,We just started to use the messenger this week, but we have received multiple complains on the following issues: The close 'x' icon doesn't work on our web App when user are using an iOS device (iOS 15.6.1)  The Launcher position doesn't change on mobile version so it block our bottom nav bar Does anyone know how to solve this?Thanks!

I know there are limitations around sending outbound content, but I'm wondering if having the widget visible on the website is part of that count.

If an agent initializes a chat within the intercom messenger, would the user get notified about it? either via email? or can we set up a push notification to notify the user? Setting up outbound chat is not suitable for this use case as the conversation can be anything and it is not generic. Thanks.

How to fix misaligned icons problem, I'm importing the library in a project written in Electron v8.0.0 and angular v9 so how to solve the problem of not aligned icons in the first screenshot? adding a simple css rule on buttons seems solve the problem (2nd screenshot)align-items:center;I can't change the style because it's inside an iframe, how can I solve the problem? maybe is caused by the default stylesheet rules of the old chrome version inside electron 8 ? please help!  

I have two different places my app takes effect: Main web and Chrome Extension I want page view tracking in the main web app. But, I don't want page view tracking in the chrome extension installation. This is because it's implemented as an IFrame, so the page is always the same and provides no value. The chrome extension activity is tracked by custom events, so I am still covered there.
