I want to be able to create dynamic content in emails based on user attributes

For example, when sending an email I want a particular section to change if user attribute is XYZ. eg. if user type is Parent then show this, if user type is Other show this, etc

API Reply to the last conversation is failing - user not found

Hi, this is my first post, so go easy :) I'd like to reply to the last conversation using the api. The URL I'm calling is: https://api.intercom.io/conversations/last/reply/p> I'm using this as reference - https://developers.intercom.com/intercom-api-reference/reference#reply-to-a-conversation/p> The message body looks approximately like this: { "message_type": "comment", "type": "user", "user_id": "usersemail@aferry.com", "body": "Test message" } I've confirmed this user exists but I get this response: { "type": "error.list", "request_id": "000sdhmlsb3j8gk6qieg", "errors": [ { "code": "not_found", "message": "User Not Found" } ] } Any ideas appreciated. I can't see what could be wrong.

Is there a recommended way to send translated carousels depending on the device locale?

We are working with mobile carousels on iOS but need to support different languages. We would like to trigger our carousels automatically. I see rules based off of browser language, but do not see anything for device language. From what I can tell the browser language is not getting set when the user is registered through the mobile SDK.

How do I re-engage my disengaged users? Do I duplicate the series and start over?

Help! I have been migrating several campaigns to series and noticed users are disengaging because I was confused by the time limit for matching rules. In campaigns, it seems there was a continuous attempt to match rules. However, in series, you have to specify the length of time. I have gone in and changed all to 90 days, but I am still very concerned about my disengaged users. I need to develop a plan to re-engage them and the best idea we've come up with is to pause current series, duplicate the series, confirm rules are accurate, and then re-send. I acknowledge this may lead to duplicate emails which I will notify our users about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. So frustrated with myself!

Can I change which teammate Outbound message replies are assigned to in bulk?

Employee A was assigned to receive all the responses from outbound messages. I'd now like to re-assign them all to Employee B. Is there a way to do this at bulk? Or do I have to go into every outbound message and change it?

[Bug] Not enough data for Article Inserter webhook event

Hi, Using webhooks to integrate Intercom with some 3rd party software. Subscribed for "conversation.admin.replied" topic. Everything works fine, until the "Article Inserter" is used. When message contains inserted article, the webhook data provided is: 'part_type': 'comment', 'body': '<p>[App: Article Inserter]</p>' So, there is no way to convert such webhook data to message in 3rd party software. We only know that some article was inserted. No url, no ID or title. It will be great if webhook data will contain information about inserted article. Hope it will get fixed someday. P.S. When we use "Insert Article" from Intercom mobile app (without Article Inserter app) - everything works fine, we get the article url in webhook data. But on desktop there is no such button without extra app...

Is there a way to use event meta data to create segments?

Either by exporting the data and reimporting, or some kind of API to a tool that can help? For example, I want to be able to segment for users that have a specific Event occurring on a specific page, and send them a post or email. The URL is in the event meta data but from Intercom Help pages it doesn't appear there is a way to use this in Intercom to segment or trigger something to happen.

How to remove items from data?

We are doing a general cleaning on our Intercom account (old messages, unused tags, unused segments, events, etc). Is there a way to select several of each segment and delete them at the same time? Or is the only way to do it one by one? Thank you!

Why can I not see variables in the debug area of Xcode on version 8.0 of the iOS SDK?

Hello I’m using the SDK 8.0 on iOS (Swift) But as soon as I import the SDK, I don’t see any variable anymore in the debug area of Xcode. It’s empty. When I type the po command in the debugger, the variables are not printed. Can you help please?

1.How Intercom API handle timestamp in search query ? 2.Respnse data in array is not received in correct order for get all contact API despite mentioning order=desc key in qs.

I am also facing weird kind of issue. what happened in my scenario is that is as below (API V is 2.3). As per docs intercom save timestamp data in UTC format when I pass the UTC timestamp to search API sometimes is does not return any result , but at the same time I pass the timestamp of my local region I got requested data . sometimes it happen vise-versa in GET All CONTACT API - when requested sometimes data come in ASC order despite mention order=DESC key in query-params I am not sure what is happening at server but I am sure about date is correctly formatted from ISO string to UTC timestamp. Please kindly provide help.
