We're testing a new onboarding series. When we set the series live, a couple of the people in our test get the 2nd video in the series but a couple of the people in the test do not get served the post. There's no perceivable difference between those who received it those who didn't. Any help and insight would be very welcomed! Also, we're trying to limit the posts to only showing up in-app but the posts are also showing up on the website. Would love to figure out how to make sure the posts show up only in the app. Thoughts?

Oftentimes, my images are too big. As in, when I insert a screenshot from my phone, the article displays it matching the width of the screen. The result is that the images are blown up, look too big, and are not as easy to use as I would like. Are there any good solutions out there that I am missing? Thanks!

I would like for my users to be able to search my SFDC KB articles from within Intercom. Is this possible today and if so how can I accomplish this? There seems to be no articles or documentation on this. I cant find anything useful via google either

I have 6 support agents. They all use the same email platform (Google for Business). I sent new teammate invites to all 6 of them through Intercom. Three of my agents received the email and were able to get into the system. Three did not receive the invite. I've revoked and resent the invite countless times. I've verified that in "All Mail" there are zero emails showing up from Intercom. I even have the Google authentication set up and working with Intercom and that didn't fix the issue either. It's the strangest thing. We do not have any spam filtering or other anti-malware protection in place besides the standard GSuite protections and standard Microsoft Windows security. I reached out for help from Intercom Support last week and still haven't received a response. Is this company run by bots? HA! :)

As far as I understand the "external_id" represent the "User id" we see in a user's or lead's profile.Is it possible to change a contact's "external_id" with a "PUT /contacts/<id>"?I tried but it doesn't seem to work. I can change other properties like "email" just fine, but "external_id" doesn't change in the contact model in the response to the call, despite the status code being "200 OK".Is there any other way to change the "user_id" of a contact otherwise?

Hi, I'm trying to make an inbox rule that only applies to conversations where the channel is email and it's during office hours. This is what I thought would work, but it isn't. Any ideas? :) 

We use the Stripe Intercom App.We use Stripe customer portal.In our flow, users first signup in our application for a free trial and if they convert, they will enter their payment info in the Stripe customer portal. In the Stripe customer portal, users have to enter a billing contact email which is often different than the login email in our application.As a result , the Stripe Intercom integration create a new user (billing user) with the billing contact email and the Stripe signup details are not sent to the actual user in our application. Is there a way to have Stripe send the signup details to the actual user email?

We have Intercom installed on every page of our website. We have a new service we are promoting. When a visitor arrives at a specific page on our website we would like to have a specific message auto pop up for capturing lead information just on this page. How do we do this? Thank you.

I have a list of 1k users who have completed an email that I'd like to tag, but I don't have their email addresses in the .csv I'm trying to upload. Is there another way to tag those users that doesn't include the .csv upload? My fallback plan is export all users and match their User ID to their email via Excel, but hoping there's an easier way. Or bonus points if there's an easier way to tag people who clicked a one-off email we sent than this manual tag?

We have a large number of mobile carousels in our app and was wondering if there was a quick way of being able to tag all users who have received any of our mobile carousels rather than in Series where it appears you have to specify which specific carousel they have received

It is very cool how you can control to whom you show new conversation button or diversify apps and info inside the Intercom widget. The thing that I found lacking is that it seems that it does not affect mobile app users.  Did anyone have such experience and is it true that these settings do not affect mobile app users?

How's it going? 😎  According to this doc: https://developers.intercom.com/installing-intercom/docs/intercom-javascript you can start out a tour, using, for example: Intercom('startTour', 123); Also, you can open a message with a pre-populated text, like this: Intercom('showNewMessage', 'pre-populated content'); Is it possible to open a post from a JavaScript call in a similar way? Thanks! 

Hi team, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but doesn't looks like the correct behavior to me. So, we're building the integration with Intercom utilizing the Canvas Kit. We followed the tutorial on your site but found 1 quirk when trying to duplicate a message that contains the app. The state seems to share across different messages for the same user. To illustrate the problem,I first create a new message with app inserted and target only myself (for testing).When I log in as a target user I can see the app and I can interact with the app. Which cause the canvas to changeI now duplicate that message. I could event modify the content a bit, but leave the inserted app untouched. And send the message.After I refresh my app (with the same user) I got a new message but the canvas state remained the same as the previous message. But I expect to be able to interact with the canvas.Hope you can shed some light on this. But this doesn't looks like the behavior I'm expecti

Building a custom messenger UI on top of the Intercom API. Are there developers with similar experience to share feedback? Limitations and difficulties?

I can't seem to figure out what makes Intercom NOT a CRM at this point. By boss (CEO), wants me to find us a good CRM, but honestly, I am not sure we need one so long as we have enough Intercom features. Can anyone explain to be the main differences between Intercom and a full CRM platform?
