Our website enquiry form is sent over to intercom as an email however Intercom is flagging 100% of these emails as spam. No rules seem to override this, even if we set successfully filters to tag the email, assign it to a team etc, the email still goes to spam. We NEED the ability to set a filter to NOT set it as spam as we know it's not. Standard option in a normal email client like Gmail. Lacking control of spam filtering in Intercom, no options to control. Too basic. (+ The add topic option on this form to submit question does not work BTW)

Hi! When I use a specific IP address, all my POST requests to the api (https://api-iam.intercom.io/messenger/web/ping) return a 403 error. However, this does not apply to other ip addresses. Is it possible that my ip address is blocked?

Our application uses OAuth to get user’s access token. We noticed that after a while tokes are revoked and API calls fails with unauthorized errors. If there a way to debug why token is invalid now?

I’ve got a specific segment of users uploaded from csv — 296 users in total. When clicking on “send message” and down to “rules” there’s only 142 users. I’ve switched “include those who were unsubscribed” on — but there’s still only 142. Am I missing something here? It’s really frustrating!  Thanks for any help :)

I’m trying to figure out how I track clicks in the content showcase app. It seems from this article: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/5652381-conversational-support-report that those clicks are not calculated in the report. However understanding the helpfulness of that content warrants some level of tracking.  How can this be done? I can’t imagine it’s not tracked at all.I’m also worried if it’s not tracked it may add to the “Unserved, stopped seeking support” number. Does anyone know if that is true?

I need urgent assistance regarding a critical issue. In the previous version of my workflow, I had the call forwarding option set up with my Switch number. While the support team is currently addressing how to utilize the Switch option in the workflow, I've attempted to create a basic workflow for incoming customer calls. However, my workflow is encountering a problem where calls are being disconnected, indicating that they have been switched.I urgently need to remove the number from the call forwarding settings, but I'm unsure how to proceed as the call forwarding in my workflow has been removed by the support team and now there is not way for me to go back and edit or remove the number. This issue is critical, and the forwarding number must be removed to resolve the disconnection problem. Hello,I’m implementing your SDK on an Android app and I’m facing an issue regarding the unreadConversationCountListener method.After a login, if my user doesn’t have any unread message and I send him a new one from the admin dashboard, the listener receive nothing.For it to work, I need to close and reopen the app but if I logout and login again, the same issue appear.If there is already a message unread when I login, the listener is working and directly send me the correct amount.I tried to move the listener in different places, before the login, after it, at the creation of the app, … but nothing change.I didn’t found directly this issue because it appears only after my pipeline build the app and send it to my Firebase App Distribution.I thought that was because of proguard but I put the rules found in your documentation.Let me know if you need more informations.Thank you

I’m running into a problem when attempting to sync contacts from our platform.  Currently I’m doing the following:Call the contacts/search endpoint, searching by email address If Contact is found, update it If Contact is not found, attempt to create itI’m occasionally getting the following error on step #3:An archived contact matching those details already exists with id=123456 I cannot search for Contact 123456 in the UI.  If I attempt to GET the Contact through the API, I get an error “User Not Found”.I cannot blindly update the Contact because I don’t know their Intercom ID, and that’s the only way to call an update that I can find.So how do I locate and update these archived records?

Is there a way to see who closed a conversation? When looking at employees Intercoms it shows the conversation was closed but does not list who closed it. 

Has anyone ever successfully integrated a Scribe (scribehow.com) into an Intercom knowledge article?  I can use HTML but I’d rather it have the look and feel of an embed snippet.

Hi team, Is it possible to get Messenger to suggest articles based on what customers ask in the chat WITHOUT using fin? Sort of like a deflection scenario with the first question that the user asks? For example, if the user writes in the chat, “I need help transferring ownership of my account”, is it possible to have the chat suggest articles based on keywords in that message, but without using fin? After the suggested articles, it should be possible for the customer to select to talk to an agent.   

I've noticed that carousels (the automatic ones, meaning one controlled by our marketing team triggered based off user properties) render in our android app before app loading is completed. When app loading does complete, they dismiss themselves. So, they become basically unusable.We use the react native SDK.I didn't see any methods that I could use to control the lifecycle to disable it until app loading has completed. I don't want to have to rely on programmatically launching them since it kind of limits our growth team's capabilities.Any recommendations? I know that there’s a way to manually show articles by using the ID, but I’d love to be able to use this out-of-the-box platform-y set up that can enable our marketing team to use articles without engineering’s involvement. Haven’t been able to figure out from the documentation whether there’s a way to control the lifecycle.

Currently, the system permits reopening only with day-long intervals, which is too prolonged for our needs. Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is a time delay in between setting a Workflow live and when you pause an existing workflow? When I make an edit to a workflow or create a new workflow for the same page that I am using, I noticed there is a delay in between pausing a workflow and setting one live. Usually the paused workflow will stay “live” for a sometime. 

A partner company uses a Gmail address to contact us, and those messages have been routed to our Intercom spam folder, despite being marked Not Spam multiple times. How can we prevent this and ensure their messages are seen by our team?

Yes… I know… this is somewhat of a weird question… BUT… hear me out…  In an entrepreneur slack channel I am in I asked the same question…Do you use the Live Chat feature in Intercom? And I was shocked by the responses… The over whelming answer was NO… Now to be clear… Majority said YES at first… but when I asked a few more questions… The answers turned to… well… not really…  What I have found is that a large number of companies that I spoke with enable the chat feature on the site… but when it comes to “using” it… in terms of having a live team ready to reply… is more of a best effort use case…  Most of the companies I spoke with rely on asynchronous responses… which again… I found shocking! Before accepting my small dataset as the norm… I figured I would pop on here and ask gen pop… haha So…  If you don’t mind me asking…Do you use the Live Chat feature? Super interested to see how this goes… Thanks ahead of time for any responses!  Cheers, Spencer Scott

Hi all!I’m trying to achieve the following situation regarding users being able to send messages via intercom: Let users start a a conversationMatch all:email does not contain @doe.com EXCEPT john@doe.com & an@doe.com.  We have multiple customers with multiple domains, but only for this specific domain we want to block it for all users except a few so that they are the only ones that can talk with out support. Who can offer me some advice? I have an application with a few thousand users that I would like to create/update in intercom and synchronise at least weekly with attributes that are calculated by my backend and that are required for contextual engagement. The Contacts API does not support bulk updates and has two major constraints for large volume: i) it requires your app to understand whether a contact has already been created before calling with POST or PUT (the javascript SDK does not suffer from this); ii) the API rate limits are ridiculously small for any medium-sized user base (166 requests per 10s window, what???), which are even smaller if you need to check if a user exists before issuing either a POST or PUT. Furthermore, the Contacts API requires you to save the intercom id for a user for any updates, which is not user-friendly at all. The javascript SDK operates from the external_id provided (controlled by my app), while the REST API does not understand it at all and requires you to either call a GET or
