The Messenger multiple brands based on path

Trying to adapt messenger styling/customizing to work with our multiple brand website, but learned that this feature only works based on domain and subdomain basis, is it possible to do it path based? like: https://mysite.com/brand1?

Why am I having issues with the Intercom Messenger in Vietnam?

We implemented the Intercom Messenger in our web site. We love it and it works very well with my customers in US (also in my laptop when I was in San Francisco).when I go to Vietnam, I and my team can't use it anymore. It shows loading forever.And I saw this error in chrome devtoolsDo anyone know this issue? Please give us some advices.

Is it possible to use the intercom backend from mainland China?

We implemented a chatbot and livechat for the chinese part of our website. Unfortunately to login to the backend is a pain for our china based employees. To login they need several minutes. Anyone else has this issue or knows how to avoid this problem?  For example a connector to teams or skype (where our employees can directly chat with the customers)?Any help appreciated.Cheers,Diego

Can you also limit the access to teammates regarding multi-brand support in messages?

We have multiple workspaces for different brands. We have experienced that switching from workspaces leads to lower customer support quality, especially when you don't get notified about one workspace when working in another workspace.  Now we would like to receive all brand massages in one workspace. Therefore, I have found out that multi-branding would be interesting for this problem. We would like to know if these messages can also be limited to some teammates. Let's say brand A can not see the messages of brand B. I found out that this could be possible using SLA and Workload management, but I am not sure if I can also limit access with these two features.

Is there a way that I can use a URL to open the messenger and prefill a message for my users to send?

I was wondering, Is there is a way I can use a URL to prefill a message that my users can send to me in the messenger? I want to be able to add a URL to my email marketing campaigns and have users click a button. That button takes the user to my website and opens the messenger with a prefilled message so they just click send.

Chat bubble visible vs not visible?

I was discussing with my colleague whether it would be better to make the Intercom bubble always visible or have it pop up on-click only? My arguments for having it always visible:People expect to have a live chat functionality and it is the default locationHaving it there would increase the number of conversations His arguments against having it there:Takes up screen space(some elements or content might be hidden behind the button)Users can easily find the support button elsewhere What are your thoughts on this?

I had a look at the 'Manage the unexpected' feature in beta, and was wondering if there have been any requests to add the ability to schedule updates to the message/publishing, as well as the ability to add a message to various languages?

Is it possible to turn off the response time indicator (Back on Monday, Back in 30 minutes)

I would prefer to remove the Back on Monday/Back in 30 Minutes text that is in the Messenger (as described here) and replace it with a bot response after the first question. Is that possible? Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

Can Intercom recognise users without a user portal on my site?

My website is basic, no user logins or anything of that sort. I'd like intercom to remember users as we have regular customers coming in with questions. What's the best way to set that up with Intercom? I tried installing via GTM and it isn't showing up.

Automated check in message on unresponsive conversations?

We want to set up a rule to automatically close conversations when unresponsive, but would like to first send out some pester messages to the customer to confirm resolution. E.g. "Is there anything else we can help you with?" sending after X hours of unresponsive, then closing if still unresponsive. Would like to prevent teammates from doing this work manually. Is that an option?

Is it no longer possible to paste images into conversations or notes?

Has there been any change to copying and pasting images from a conversation back into a conversation? If I open an image in another tab or copy an image directly from the conversation I cannot paste back into the conversation or notes.

Hi, we are launching our new Saas solution in the coming days... One of it's features is Workspaces. As a user, you can create different workspaces, just like in Slack, where you could have one workspace related to company A and another workspace for all things related company B.  Now, since our Saas app is security related, for security reasons, each time that one of our customers creates a new workspace it automatically creates a new subdomain for them with the name of their workspace. And they will only be able to access the app (and their workspace) with that subdomain!! So, to give you an example, if you would become our customer and you would create a new workspace called "companyA", we will automatically create a new subdomain for your workspace called:https://companya.ournewsaas.com. (where ournewsaas is the name of our upcoming SaaS, and companyA is the name you gave to your new workspace.)Now comes the question: If - like i explained above - we are going to cr

I just read this article (Install intercom with GTM) but it does not provide instructions on how to get the necessary variables for the Data Attributes to be sent to Intercom. Can anybody help me or point me to how to fill this part. Thanks in advance.

Why are the welcome message and prompts asking what the user needs help with only sometimes showing?

When a user starts a new chat, we are seeing 2 different behaviors (for both logged in and logged out users):User opens up a new chat and there is a blank chat screen where they can send a message User opens up a new chat & bot sends welcome message and displays buttons with different topics asking the user what they need help with. This includes a "something else" button.  We want #2 to occur for every new chat. What setting can we adjust to make this happen?

API sent message does not refresh the Conversation in Messenger

I made an app that ends-up by posting messages within conversations... It is done with the Intercom API, but when we post a new message it appears into the agent inbox, but not into the Messenger on the visitor side… until the visitor or the agent sends a new message, then all is refreshing. Is there anything to do to make the messenger refresh when a new message comes from the API ?

How to disable the Messenger pop-up automatically and just keep the launcher icon? We got lots of complaints about this from our customers, they said when refreshed the website pages or loaded a new page, the Messenger pop-up bother them.

Can you call something Live Chat if an answer takes 2 business days?

I find it surprising that a company whose product is built around a live chat window, can take multiple days to reply. Messaging at the speed of snail mail can't really be counted as a chat.  For the price of your product please hire more customer support folk, you can afford it - they do a great job, but clearly they have too much to do if the response time is so poor.

Having issues with UTF-8 names (Hebrew) in with json_encode($current_user->name)

The name is showing up in the Messenger in Gibberish. I'm passing a UTF-8 string: $hebrew_name = urldecode($hebrew_name); Then in the messanger code, I use it like this:  window.intercomSettings = { app_id: "kubohuj0", name: <?php echo json_encode($hebrew_name) ?>, // Full name email: <?php echo json_encode($username) ?>, // Email address created_at: "<?php echo strtotime($current_user->created_at) ?>" // Signup date as a Unix timestamp  }; I tried changing it to json_encode($name, JSON_UNESCAPED_UNICODE) ;  but to no avail.  Any ideas?
