The new checklist feature seems pretty cool; and we look forward to using it with our customers. But we would like to make it interactive; we would like customers to be able to respond to a question or add comments. Is this possible..? How would we do this..?
We are looking to implement the messenger in a React Native app. Our preference would to be to show the chat as a screen in the app (with bottom bar navigation) rather than an overlay. Seems like this is not possible from the documentation. Wondering if anyone has found a way to achieve this?
For instance, our platform has the "chat" section, the "admin" section, the "main" section, etc. On each one of them, I want to show the relatives articles on the Articles Search app in Messenger. It doesn't make sense to show the "chat" articles in the "admin" section. It could work like the banners, posts, product tours rules.Thank you
We'd like to show a list of all our consultants and an operator, so users can see each consultant (with their details next to them) and then choose who they want to talk to. I've seen other companies do this using Intercom. How do we do this? Is there an app we can use?
The launcher covers necessary functionality on Mobile.How can I disable it from showing only on Mobile? Using properties and segmentation will not work for us as our users using both mobile and desktop. I want them to see the launcher on the desktop but remove it from mobile.Thank you!
The close 'x' is not working on our web App for iOS device, and Launcher position doesn't change on mobile.
Hi,We just started to use the messenger this week, but we have received multiple complains on the following issues: The close 'x' icon doesn't work on our web App when user are using an iOS device (iOS 15.6.1) The Launcher position doesn't change on mobile version so it block our bottom nav bar Does anyone know how to solve this?Thanks!
If an agent initializes a chat within the intercom messenger, would the user get notified about it? either via email? or can we set up a push notification to notify the user? Setting up outbound chat is not suitable for this use case as the conversation can be anything and it is not generic. Thanks.
In Salesforce, there are ways to create Categories and multiple sub catergories to these data points. So lets say you have two categories: Category 1 and 2. In Category 1, you have the option to choose from X amount of options. When you choose one option, it will show specific data points to choose from in Category 2. The reason we are looking for this is to have more consistent data chosen in Intercom while also offering more data to choose from. We would love to have more specific data chosen in drop down lists but don't want to add too much to them right now as it just becomes too much to choose from. Just curious if there's been any demand for this.
How to fix misaligned icons problem, I'm importing the library in a project written in Electron v8.0.0 and angular v9 so how to solve the problem of not aligned icons in the first screenshot? adding a simple css rule on buttons seems solve the problem (2nd screenshot)align-items:center;I can't change the style because it's inside an iframe, how can I solve the problem? maybe is caused by the default stylesheet rules of the old chrome version inside electron 8 ? please help!
I have two different places my app takes effect: Main web and Chrome Extension I want page view tracking in the main web app. But, I don't want page view tracking in the chrome extension installation. This is because it's implemented as an IFrame, so the page is always the same and provides no value. The chrome extension activity is tracked by custom events, so I am still covered there.
I cannot hide messenger either by condition or just by turning it off, we have embedded the code rather than using GTM so not sure if that affects it. Any ideas? I am trying to turn the messenger off for a certain segment but couldn't get it to work so to test I turned it off completely for all users but it still shows.
Hi there, our company need to create post to show to our users and there are lots of limitations on their creations. For example:I would like to change the font colour to stand out some parts of it.I would like to change also the text to different sizes, like 14pt, 18pt so we can make some parts more important than others, at moment we just have H1, H2 and other.Also I couldn't align images with text, I only see options to get it centred or full size.Space between paragraphs and lines, cant be changed neither.Change button sizes.I am sure I will find some more issues as much as I start working on it.Thanks for your time.
5 years ago when we installed intercom into our suite of web and mobile applications, our custom messenger launcher would display the total number of unread messages as a small red circle near our custom launcher. This was a great way to let someone know they have a message waiting. However, I've realized it disappeared, and am having a very difficult time bringing the red circle with the volume of unread messages back so it is displayed near our custom launcher. My investigation did reveal that we were/are using the "old" version of messenger, so I upgraded one of my test workspaces to the new messenger, hoping that it would resolve the issue, but it did not. That said, the "messages" icon inside the updated messenger DOES display the total unread notifications, but because that red notice isn't visible when the messenger is closed, the user does not know a message is waiting. Help! Thank you
My messenger is disappearing when we click on it. In the browser console I am seeing this message pop up, not sure if it is related "Intercom - Google Analytics is not installed or configured, have you forgotten to include it?"
